I Need American Idol Play By Play (Cable Went Out)

Help a Big Dude if you can. My wife and I were watching AI (haven't missed a show) when all of a sudden the cable went out. I need to know what is going on. All we have to go on is your opinions so be as honest as you can without bias Thanks for any help!

She sang Walk on by - I think that's the name
Randy told her it wasn't her best performance
I don't think it was either but she sang good

RJ sang the arthur theme song
When you get caught between the moon & NYC
It was pretty good for RJ
I don't like the way he sings as much as the others

all 5 got make overs
Tamayra is singing a house is not a home???

In a nutshell

They are singing Burt Bacharach songs ( sorry if I misspelled that)...

Kelly went first... she sang the one that goes "Just walk on by"... which is not the song Burt chose for her... She did well, it wasn't one of her best but she did well... The judges all loved her, even Simon

RJ went next... he sang the theme to Arthur... "when you get caught betweent the moon and New York City..."

He did fine also... he goe stronger as the song went on... he has obviously sung it before... Simon did not like him, he said he was OK but had no hope... RJ blew him off..The other two thought it was good but they liked Kelly best

Tamara is on now... she is singing as "A house is not a home" (?) a new one to me...

She is doing great... She had, like I never, heard the song again but you can't tell it by the way she is singing it... They all loved her!! Paula gave her a standing ovation and is crying... Simon compared her to Whitney Houston and Celine Dion...

Randy said she looked nervous but sang her heart out &
did her thing
Paula is actually crying

Started out sloooow... but he got better as he went along... Randy- nice outfit... nice song but he didn't stretch himself vocally
Paula-like him, he was at ease
Simon-after Tamayra, it was OK

I may be nuts but I really like the way Justin is singing it
Not as powerful or good as Tamayra
He is so cool - never looks nervous or anything
Judges... Randy likes his outfit - nice song- didn't stretch him

Sometimes I really love her & sometimes I think they should vote her off

Well call me stupid, I had no idea that was a Burt Bachrach song! I love that song, but Nikki sounded wayyyyy flat. I have to agree with all the judges, except when Randy said he loved the outfit. What the heck was she wearing????????
