Okay so we are leaving for Disney August 25 and comming home August 30. My parents aniversary is on the 27 and I want to do something really special for them. I just need help knowing what to do. We are having dinner that night at Tony's, should I call and tell them its an aniversary or just discretly tell them when we get there? Also I am planning on getting them the anniversary pins. I want to try and do up a little gift basket too. Nothing too expensive though because I don't have a lot of money. I was think maybe putting some candy in it? And I'm wondering does anyone know if they make little a plush Mickey and Minnie in wedding atire? So any suggestions you guys have would be great!
Thanks so much:goodvibes

That's nice of you doing something for your parents.
In my opinion the food at Toby's is terrible. I've been there two times with my family. The first time was before then changed the interior of it. The food is still nasty. And the service isn't good.
But you might have a better luck then my family and I did.

I think calling them in advance is a great idea.
And you can make them a handmade card. I made a handmade card for my parents birthday and they cried because it meant so much to them that I put the time into it.

But I'm sure whatever you decide to do they will love.

Yes, call Tony's and tell them to mark your dinner as an Anniversary, and talk to them about how they can make it special. Also, go to town hall that day and pick them up two Anniversary buttons to wear.

You can also make them a card, as stated above, parents love that kinda thing.

Do you think your parents would mind adding 20$ to the bill? Because if not, you can ask them to make a custom anniversary cake.

Have fun Steph.

When we went to WDW last year, it was around my Mom's birthday. I tried to decide which restaurant was the best to tell and I decided to tell Cinderella's Castle. I called them a few weeks before we went. When we got there, our table was decorated different from all of the others. We tried to drop hints to my Mom but she had no clue. Finally our waiter brought a cupcake with a candle and we sang Happy Birthday to her. So, if you call they may do something special.

Thanks everyone:goodvibes
I'm deffinetly gonna call Tony's and tell them. I'll also check into getting a cake. I found something on the Creative DISigns board that I had personalized and I think I will use for a card:

I just need to get it changed from "our" to "your"

Awe Steph this is all so sweet! Your parents will love it :)
I think they make Mickey and Minnie in Wedding Clothes but I don't know if they're in stores there. Hmm.
Have fun in Disney! And Happy Anniversary to your parents :) (you'll all be there the day I leave haha).

Tony's is so good!!! I got a pasta thing.
I would tell them before. One time for my birthday they put piwie dust all over our table. IDK if they make the plushies. =]

Yup they make the mickey and minnie dolls in wedding clothes, they're in most large stores, very cute.
Awesome card as well!

Definitely call ahead. The people at DD will probably have some good suggestions. Also, after dinner, I'd suggest taking the monorail over to the Polynesian and watching Wishes from the beach.
