I made Pooh cry.

We had some great character interaction on our first trip.

In Morrocco, Genie kept pushing my niece's hat down over her eyes while they were posing for pictures.

At AK, we have some great photos. One looks like my BIL is dancing with Goofy. (I've labeled that one "Will the real Goofy please stand up?") In another,Tigger looks like he's attacking my sister.

And then at our Character breakfast, my nephew got all shy around Mary Poppins. And in one picture his face is so red while she's leaning over talking to him.

I can't wait to see what we get when my husband and I go in January. He's a big Pooh fan and I know I'm going to have to get him a sweatshirt before we go.

One this last trip I noticed that all of the characters did a great job--seems like the actors portraying them are either better than they used to be or better-trained.

At AK , my 70 year old mother "accidentally" kept the 3D glasses from ITTBABug (she's always looking for a free souvenier). She just hooked them on her bag and we kept on going through the park. Later on while we just resting on a bench after my son had seen the characters in CMini-mickey, Chip and Dale walked up to her and started reprimanding her and pointing at her and the glasses, doing the "shame-shame" thing with their fingers and shaking their fingers at her. It was hysterical !!! She was so embarassed. They did end up taking the glasses away from her. My son still remembers that Grammy tried to "rip off" Disney! (But of course she still had my son's pair in the bag so she still got her memento).

i totally love the pooh characters in that store!!! i think it's the best time to interact with them (except for crystal palace of course..lol)

I'm LOVING these stories! In sept my (now ex) and I were at CP and pooh gave me a BIG loud KISS... when my (now ex) got up and next to him for a pic I told him ok.. give mike a kiss now! Pooh acted all embarressed and kept shaking his head no and laughing....

Last year we were at Animal Kingdom getting Donald's autograph. My DS (8) was wearing a Mickey shirt and to say the least Donald was not happy! So he's signing my son's book with a fancy number 1 that kinda looks like a number 7 and my DH says in aloud voice "Number 7 ?" Let's just say Donald wasn't too happy with my DH. It was one of the best moments of our trip. (Donald is now my DS favorite character!)

My favorite is when we were at Epcot for our first trip. We were waiting for the Characters on Holiday bus to arrive. Chip and Dale were the first off the bus and stole DS5. I told dH to just keep shooting with the camera. We got great chronological shots of them leading our son away. As we were standing there the lady behind me said, "heh they just stole somebody's kid!" Needless to sat that is the title of my scrap page.
We also have a shot of DS9 at the parade in MK and a picture of Aladdin pointing right at him because he had a birthday pin on.

This isn't really character interaction but on our trip in April I heard the Power Ranger music at MGM and DS4 LOVES anything red especially the red ranger. Well we kept behind the crowds so he couldn't see where we were headed. The first ranger we get to is red so we get in line and DS4 still can't see. As soon as it was our turn he flipped, ran over to Red screaming "Red Ranger" and gave him a great big hug. I think it was the last thing he expected, he almost fell over when DS went rushing up there. The whole crowd was laughing and all the mothers were oohing and awing.

The last one was DS9 seeing Mary Poppins for the first time, he blushed so bad you could feel the heat from his face. We got a great shot of him just staring up at her while she talked to him. I told Mary he had a crush on her and she spent a little extra time with him and kissed his forehead. I grabbed her autograph and pressed the kiss onto it because he refused to wash his face.

We just got back from MNSSHP and the boys were dressed as Chimney Sweeps and we got a lot of interaction with other cast members, especially the maintenance crews and the photographers. Cast members and guests were seeking us out for pictures. Some guy even asked me if the boys worked there and got paid.

This past July, our DS fell asleep as we were touring the WS in EPCOT. In France I mentioned to DW that Sleeping Beauty and Belle were both in one of the shops and there was no one around. We managed to get our stroller into the shop and ask them if they would take a photo with our little sleeping prince. They were both happy to oblige and actually thought it was a cool idea.

Here are the links to each of the pictures.

What an awesome idea!!

My mother and I went to WDW this past August and went to Crystal Palace for lunch. My mother was wearing a Piglet T-shirt so of course when Piglet saw it, he gave her a thumbs-up. Our waiter happened to be nearby and he pointed out to Piglet what my mother was eating... roast pork! Piglet then shook his finger at her and acted very upset. Earlier, as my mother was in the buffet line getting her roast pork, the server asked her, :rotfl: "How can you eat pork when you have Piglet on your shirt?!" I thought it was great!

We were at MGM and the Queen of Hearts was there. My daughter wanted her autograph but also was kinda scared of her. She didn't have a line because every time a child came near her she stomped her feet and chased them away. :rotfl2: So my daughter hid behind my legs and as we got closer to her I told her we thought she was beautiful and how lovely she looked. Then she was very sweet, got my daughter to come out from hiding and kissed both our hands.

Another cute moment...we met Jasmine and Aladdin at Epcot in Morocco. They were very sweet, took pictures and we got their autographs. When we were walking away my 3 year old daughter said, "Mom I have to tell you something! Aladdin had a hole in his pants!". Needless to say I was cracking up over that comment. :rotfl:

While having dinner at Garden Grill in the Land in Epcot on Christmas Eve 1999, Chip and Dale spent a little time at our table - a party of 4 adults. My dad was a little embarrassed when one of them polished his bald head and bent down and kissed the bald spot - complete with a loud lip-smacking sound! :rotfl:

After seeing Donald on numerous occassions on our last trip (December 2004) my DD rushed past him and straight to Daisy when we saw them at the caravans in MGM. We had been looking for Daisy our entire trip and this was on the last day of our vacation, so DD who was 3 at the time, was delighted! Donald wasn't very pleased though so I explained to him that we already had his autograph, but still wanted a photo with him. The CM accompanying them also said "now Donald, manners please - you know it's ladies first!" He quickly forgave DD and danced with her while Daisy found his autograph, wrote in #1 and signed the opposite page and then he gave his approval before posing for the photos!

My parents took DD to the character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in Grand Floridian last December. Mad Hatter told DD that she was his "cutie petutie" and she reminded us of this often. So Valentine's Day 2005, I made her card out "to our cutie petutie". She insisted that I call her granny so she could tell her that she had received a card from Mad Hatter! :rotfl2:

We have had some fun encounters with the characters as well. My husband wears a welding cap to protect his head from the sun. Chip took his hat off and put it on his own head, then "polished" my husband's head at dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. I have the best picture of that (my dh's face is crimson!).

While getting Lilo and Stitch's autograph, Stitch pulled my 11 yr. old dd's hat off, then undid her ponytail and proceeded to push all her hair over her face for the picture. It was hysterical!

Trying to get Donald's autograph at MGM was a challenge. He refused to use the pens the kids had because they had Mickey heads on them. He even threw it on the ground when my dd handed it to him. An efficient CM provided a different one for us. We had to all show him we had him on our shirts and convince him how much we loved him before he would finish the autographs and pose for a picture.
