BOA sent me this... is this a hard pull since it's a business card? Anyone know?

Pretty sure I have read here that only Cap One biz cards are reported to your personal credit report. Oh and I think another one, maybe Discover, is unknown if they report.

So I have been thinking about getting into the selling game again (side "business"). With that being said this time I want to apply for a cc because when I was doing it before I never thought about getting a business card.

I do want to stick with Chase so looking into the CIC especially with the extra bonus points on things like cable internet and phone. But just wondering if this card is more like the Freedoms in that in order for the cashback to be worthwhile they need (if they can be) to be transferred to the CSR ?

Also I plan to apply for this card in the next month or so but just want to be sure it will not interfere with me applying for the CSR in June of this year. Because in June is when I will be 4/24 (finally!) So with this being a business card it won't make a difference?

I mean I was almost ready to be content having the Chase trifecta (CF CFU CSR) but I see the monthly bonus points for the cable internet etc and just don't want to pass that up. Am I overlooking anything else regarding this card? Thanks

Unfortunately you won't get approved for a CIC if you are over 5/24. That card is subject to 5/24 (it just doesn't count against your "5"). Sorry to burst your bubble :( The only Chase Biz Card you could get now would be the Marriott Biz. However you also could get approved for an AMEX biz now without impacting your 5/24 status.

Yes. If you can't apply for the CSR right now because you're at 5/24 or more, then you won't be approved for the CIC before you drop back down to 4/24 because the CIC is subject to Chase's 5/24 rule.

That's ok. Thanks for the info. Perhaps I will look into Marriott or Chase Biz cards...Just glad I asked here before applying.

DOC covers this pretty well and most are consistent with DPs we've seen on Reddit. CapOne is the most well known to do so, along with Discover, TD, and in some instances in seems Barclays (but mixed DPs). BofA does not and DOC has a link that points to them publicly acknowledging that they don't.

Woohooo!!! The 75k MR from the BGR posted, my statement closed on the 9th.

I’m surprised they posted so quickly, considering all the post on points taking forever to post.

Working on DH’s Marriott Biz MSR now.

I still have $1100 of spend left :(

Has anyone done the Hyatt Visa $30 statement credit on groceries with Disney gift card? Did it go OK? How do you know if it works with gift cards because it's not excluded? I was thinking of doing it at Kroger.

I used my Hyatt Visa to get grocery gift cards a local grocery store and see my $30 statement credit came through today. I can see no reason it wouldn’t work purchasing Disney gift cards

Good deal! I’m a little sad that I’m now tapped out for the year.

ETA: Really tempted to refer DW for the SW Biz. 25k Starpoints for her, 7,500 for me, then buy another 30k Starpoints towards minimum spend.

do u mean SPG biz?
how long did your purchased points take to post? last time i bought, it post instantly.

Yes, SPG Biz! And mine posted within 5 minutes? I reloaded my account page a few times. I seem to remember the app updated a little later.

Are they expecting a higher offer? It seems 35k Starpoints on the SPG Personal/Business is fairly cyclical. I’ve been holding out for a higher offer on the Biz for DW and 35k on the personal before I burn one of my */24 slot. And the 35% off sale on Starpoints runs until 3/16/18, so I’ve got a little time... but if not this time, I’m hoping Points .com re-runs the sale later this year like they did last year.

In the meantime, I’ve got just a little more left on my SPG Biz MSR plus some cushion spending, about $700 toward my Amex PRG retention bonus, a new Marriott Biz MSR to meet, and a Freedom 5x category I still need to max.

Just saw this update on SW/Hawaii routes. I know a lot of us are SW people and trying to plan Hawaii this year or next, so just thought I’d share.

I find it hard to believe there wouldn’t be a big announcement/fanfare ahead of time, so I’m not convinced anything is happening 2/15 in regards to hawaii.

yeah, ppl are saying wait till next month... although i think its Feb-->May was when the 35k was available. was making fun of it by saying probably a new deal... 35k after 14k spendings! 6k for 25k, 6k for another 10k! haha.

ETOP ratings... those are nasty... :\

Hi everyone. I sm'd Chase yesterday asking to downgrade my CSP to the Freedom Unlimited and got a message back saying that option is unavailable at this time. Did I skip a step or does anyone know what may be going on? I just want to have an idea what my next move will be before I call.
