u guys are lucky to have things to buy! I dont need any gc, and ive searched like 6 different BBs for VGCs. No dice!
only bought a dock for $100 and thats about it... :\
I would have got gas cards for DH if they'd has shell, but we decided since we know were doing a dcl cruise in the next year might as well get Disney. :)

Ok so had to share Bc I know you all understand my excitement. Went to BB. Just returned the software and another item. Purchased the software using my 10% off coupon and got a $30 disney gift card to make sure I was over $100. Had them scan my Swagbucks code and B.B. rewards. Used chase pay to make sure I had the $300 total used Incase they claw back from the return. Well I also got Shopkick 15 kicks per $1 when you use chase pay. Now to hope Swagbucks gives me credit for both purchases :-)
Wait, you can use a swagbucks code for in store purchases?! Maybe I'm reading this wrong but that would be awesome!

When you are in your account. Click on Best Buy then the coupons. Click to get your code. I screen shot it and just show it to them at check out. If you get something off their ad you get a bonus 500 sb. Plus 2sb per $1. Catch is your total has to be over $50. So far I’ve gotten credit for purchases but never gc only

I looked it up and yes...14 points and it’s been done by 7 teams.

I noticed when I responded that my “p” for points was made in lower case - will that still work?

i want to say yes it will still work as almost everyone is replying back with just "14"
but i havent seen a "you got it" response from anyone yet.

edit: i suck

Great, thanks for the tip!

I almost forgot, thanks @3 DD love princesses for mentioning shopkick. I put it on DHs phone and we got the 15 kicks per $ on all purchases! I've got enough for a $25 Disney gc now :thumbsup2
I'm so close to a Disney gift card that when I sent DH & DS shopping today (so I could get work done) I gave DS my phone to do Shopkick at Target. Came back 90 kicks short. I'd have kept going to get that last 100! :(

So for the first time...in a long time...I'm at a loss on what card to get next. I gotta spend some time and look into things. Does anybody have thoughts on my likelihood of being approved with Capital One? Here are my stats:

  • 24 new cards in the past 24 months (24/24 lol)
  • Only 4 new cards in the last 12 months
  • Only 2 new cards in the last 6 months
  • (PLUS 7 AMEX biz cards between me and the wife that aren't appearing ;))
  • Inquiries: 2 in Sept 2017; 1 in Aug 2017; 2 in May 2017; 17 inquiries prior to that (total 22 inquiries)
If you know me then you know I have or have had almost every card worth mentioning...my wife goes under 5/24 in April so just trying to buy time until then. I'm considering doing 1 personal card and then I need to stop with personal cards as I can get back under 5/24 myself in 15 months (and we'll be busy with my wife hitting Chase until then anyways).

Cards I'm considering are:
Any thoughts? I know I'm usually the one dishing out the advice here, haha - so interested if anybody has thoughts for me now!

Capital One Venture has the new Hotels.com 10x points partnership. Don't know if that would be worth it for you or if you're a pretty committed Marriott/Hilton/SPG person.

Ok, I'll take a stab at it although I'm sure there are others with much more experienced advice! How about the Capital One Venture for the travel erase credit that can be used to purchase Disney tickets at Undercover tourist? The Barclay Arrival+ does the same. Although something tells me you have AP's, lol. I don't really have any advice on how easy it would be to get though. Only 2 new cards in 6 months doesn't seem bad!

Yeah - we have over a million Marriott points and 100k Hilton so no plans to pay OOP for any hotels in the near future. Also have over 500k SW RR points so no need for flights either lol. Probably thinking something cash back actually for a few months.

Actually not an AP holder. We only go to Disney once a year with multiple other trips to other locations.

This year: Disney (last week), Myrtle Beach, Captiva (annual trip), Sea World Orlando.

Last Marriott twitter answer is one. At least for now. I wonder what happens if this game goes to OT? Think they'd also accept 2?
