Knoxville :) My daughter goes to UT.

But goooo 'cocks! :D
o_O I cannot be the only with with a mind that lives in the gutter here, right?

Also I got denied my CIC . I was 30 days for a about a week and then went 7-10. Reasons listed were too new of a business, too much credit extended, and too many new accounts if I am remembering right. I honestly didn't expect it would be approved as I have been pretty active with Chase recently. It was sort of a hail mary before my 5/24 was reported. Onto bigger better things! Perhaps a BBP? I got the targeted 20k/5k but I don't know if I should pull the trigger because with self referral it works out to be 20k/3k. I don't foresee ever maxing out my referral bonuses so I should probably go that route I guess.

Question for the overseas travelers: I have a coworker who wants to visit Hungary (family of 4)and wanted to know what card can offset that. Since I basically only travel to Florida and Hawaii I have no clue. Initially I thought recommending her to SPG/Marriott for flexibility of points but then I thought maybe just a CSR to offset the cost and not worry about award availability.

Is anyone having trouble logging in to Marriott?

No. I logged in played the game and won 50 points. I also was told I answered the question wrong even though I picked 'spirituality', and they said that is the correct answer.

Pure speculation here, but I think maybe Chase is more lenient with the SW cards and you would have a better chance with the SW Biz over the CIC. DH got approved last week for his 1st Chase Biz card (CIP, referred by me) but it wasn't instant. Ok, it took 24 hours. But I got instant approval on my SW Biz and it was my 3rd Chase Biz card for my "business."

The only thing I would hesitate about getting the SW Biz is what are your CP plans after your SO's CP expires? Will you be going for a CP after him? Would you cancel the SW Biz next year so that you can apply again in 2020? And would you be ok if that didn't work because Chase decides to impose new restrictions between now and then?

Once over 5/24 I don’t see myself getting under. Chase has been changed the rules a lot lately so I don’t think it’s worth waiting around for them. I want to hop on the GrAAvy train lol I’m thinking the chase co branded cards are easier to get too. So maybe I’ll try for that next month and then finally get over 5/24. I use the same income for SO and I on chase applications and we have similar credit scores idk how SO now has three chase Biz cards and I can’t get number 2.

I got it wrong as well. It was listed twice and probably a typo on their part.

I picked the bottom one. Probably should have picked #3.

Just an idea - I got 500 points when I matched immediately and answered all questions correctly. When I don't match on the first go out, I get 50. Anyone flubbing it all and still winning bigger amounts?

Weren't there two spirtitualities???

I got nothing today. So far I've gotten 500 once, nothing twice, and 50 the rest of the time. I miss the NFL promotion.

I've gotten 500, 3 of the 50's and a whole lot of nothings. But it's easier points then spending $325 to get 650 points.....

My first consideration would be what airport he is flying out of and it it is a hub for AA or Delta. Also, are those the only airlines that fly to Europe from his airport?

Next, would be, is he flying coach, biz or first. Most of the time, but not always, you will do better by paying in variable points (UR, MT, TYP) for coach tickets than by transferring to an airline. There are exceptions of course.

MR will give better options as they transfer to both Delta and BA which is a OW partner, plus they have more airline partners than Chase and the offer bonuses for transferring to airlines periodically. I would suggest he consider the amount of taxes and fees on award tickets with certain airlines when they connect or land in London.

Thank you! He flies out of DFW. I think that is a hub for AA. I'm guessing they'd be flying coach mostly but I'll have to ask him about that. Their kids are spread really far apart in age so one is a junior in college and the other in middle school which means many times they are traveling as a fam of 3.

I have the CSR and got the offer too. However it said minimum spend of $25.00. And the list of merchants looked somewhat limited (not places where I'd spend $25.00 in 1 purchase).

I guess I could get a $25.00 GC at Walgreens and get the UR points. Not sure if that would be worth it though.
Don't forget you can use Chase Pay with Walmart Pay.

So funny. I have lived 1 1/2 hours away from Philadelphia all of my life and have never actually been there. Maybe we need to add that to the list of weekend trips.

Yes, its funny how that works, when I lived in New Jersey and then New York I not only visited NYC, but Boston Baltimore Philly, DC and many more states and cities on the coast .when I was stationed overseas I visited several countries. But I grew up in Nebraska and now live in Sioux City and have never been to the Black Hills.

New to the game so the huge AF scares me, but yes with the credit it makes it doable. I received the 125k offer in the mail.

dont forget on ur 2nd AF, u also get a free night stay up to 50k. so if u find a hotel over $150(cuz $450-$300 credit), u actually benefit from it! to me, i think this card is a keeper!

Totally agree!!! People are so clueless, even grocery shopping is a challenge with these people!!

I’ve seen distracted shoppers grab someone else’s cart and not realize it until a while later. I couldn’t believe it, and then I had it happen to me recently.

Wow, that's a sweet upgrade offer. I had that one on my Marriott card, made my one purchase, and haven't seen any points yet but my statement doesn't close until Nov. 17.

I also took the SPG Lux upgrade offer for 100K points for $5K spend. I'm still working on that one; I would have taken yours in a heartbeat.

Never mind - It was my Marriott card (not SPG) was confused there since they both earn Marriott Points now. ( would love that on my SPG Also). Made the upgrade on 10/10 just not sure how long it will take to see the points.

I thought the same thing at first but missed 2 of the 3 questions just now for the 4,000 points :confused3
