I got an email for that. My stay is July 31, with checkout Aug 1. Don’t think it will count .

The only example I saw was based on ending date. Doesn't hurt to sign up anyway just in case.

Hyatt MCO day rooms are supposed to be great. Lots of people use them post cruise when they have late flights. Maybe instead of parks, you would like to do the day room, relax by their pool (again fairly nice I have read), shop the airport, ease back into the real world...

We stayed at the MCO Hyatt twice in April. I didn't find their pool that nice. It's tiny, on the rooftop facing the tarmac so just planes coming in and out (cool for kids but not real relaxing) and did not have the 'spa feel' that they portray it to have in the pics. We actually turned in our car early with plans to hang out by the pool but after going up there for awhile, we just went back into the airport and shopped/walked around. Otherwise, the hotel is nice and I'm sure the day rooms are great (we stayed overnight both times).

Made my first transaction through Plastiq today - a partial payment on my son's university tuition. Interested to see how it posts both at the university and on the Chase account. Didn't pay the whole thing since I wanted to start small for that first time.

Also used the new CIP today for the automatic billing on my Century Link account after dumping my land line for the first time ever. Makes me feel a little nervous doing that, but we never use it anymore! Of course it was a big hassle dealing with the phone company, and they couldn't upgrade our internet speed even though we've been told in the past they could. 10 Mbps isn't as great as it used to be! DH said he'd call the tech support number to straighten that out. That should be loads of fun.

That reminded me to check DD's school account. I have the tuition split over 3 payments in plastiq to take advantage of a promo they were running. So the first payment has credited to DD's account and it says "plastiq check." Glad it made it safely.

When I asked, the answers I received were that you can't transfer MR. In my little research I didn't even find mixed info.
What I did find was ways to at least use those points for someone else, like transferring into his frequent flyer account to pool points. But it seems a few years back Amex blocked all MR transfers to other accounts.

Thanks for your response but BOOO! That is surprising that you cannot even share with a household member.

Anyone else buy Kindle Fires today? I bought all my kids a new one...dd15 lost hers and the other three all have 'older' ones like she did (2015 version). I got three of the 8 16gb and one of the 7 8gb (decided dd18 will take that one). The Fire 8 is $20 after the amex promo and the Fire 7 is $10 after the promo. It appears you can buy all you want as I bought all four of those on the same account. Are these good for resale? That's such a crazy good price. Wish Swagbucks ran on these!

Potential change to Amex offers!!! I have multiple business logins for 3 different people, 1 card each login and my personal Amex login which has 3 cards on it. I did my spg biz first, had all offers. No offers showed on my other biz login. Pulled up my personal next, 3 different tabs no offers on any of the cards (even using the old login). I logged into each of the biz logins and only sporadically got the offers. I wrote out what I got and I can clearly see each name got each offer 1 time. Had I opened multiple browsers for each login prior to adding the offers I'm sure I would have been able to add them to each card considering everyone seems to have all of them. At least for me and my fam Amex is on to the multiple login trick.

ETA: others on DoC reporting this as well. Each person gets each offer only once despite having multiple logins. Make sure to open all of a person's cards and logins in separate tabs before adding offers now.

Just snagged some BOSE QC25's for $70. Great deal if you have the Amex 20% as it is calculating the 20% off list - so prime day deal is $125 then Amex 20% takes off another $55. And even then I paid with discounted Amazon gift cards acquired with the Amex 20%. Very happy with that deal - just hope it ships.

Not sure what you have in mind but I can vouch for the luxor and excalibur being cheap (for the strip) and clean, and I dont feel like it's too bad of a walk overall. Last time we stayed at the excalibur and got 2 buffets at any mgm resort, so we went to Arias weekend brunch and saved $90 there. The Luxors pool is very basic, the Excaliburs has a little more to it theming wise. That'sjust based on looking around, we didnt hang out at either pool. But at luxor in 2017 we never saw a soul at the pool.

it seems like its changing... if you add on one SSN account, all the others will disappear. The best thing to do now is to merge them all into one and open a new tab for each card and add.
for some reason best buy one disappeared around 9 hours ago... it seems like its based on who adds first and then while supplies last.

I'm not a Vegas person, but I will say that we stayed at the Aria and it was nice. DH was at the Wynn Encore recently for work, and says it's ok, too.

Not sure about the 8s. The Fire HD 10 is good for resell. When they’re regularly $149, they sell well in the $125-129 BIN range with free shipping. You can cram them into USPS’s Priority Mail flat rate bubble mailers for as little as $7-something shipping. But I wedge in a solid slab of cardboard or two for additional protection. The Amex shop with points deal does have limits per model, so buy what you can. The offers do reset eventually (I’ve done two rounds), but I’m still locked out of the discount since I did this deal back in May. And don’t forget to go through cash back portals for Amazon devices. I know Ebates pays out at 4%.

I've been trying for 3 days to bring up the 20k offer. I can't get it to save my life...I've tried incognito in 4 browsers plus on my phone. So, I went with the referral offer(a DISfriend, of course!)

Amex experts - I applied for the BBP and got a message that they need more info. It’s my 2nd business card app since late May. I use our rental property as the business so it is a valid reason to have a business card. What am I in for if I call?

I'm confused on transferring MR points between spouses. I have MR's on my BGR but plan to cancel the card in Dec when the AF hits. I *need* a new card, like yesterday, but I can't seem to decide on one so just going to go with the BBP which I don't really want but it will give me a free place to park the MR's. I was going to open it in my dh's name but I'm reading mixed info on if I will be able to transfer my MR's to his account. Anyone know for sure? I was hoping MR's were like UR's in that sense.

Your confusion is correct. You cannot transfer MRs to anyone. The only thing you can do is add someone as an AU and transfer to their frequent flyer account, but MRs themselves are locked to you.

For the BBP, give it a day, and try clicking the link in the approval email you received. You should be able to log on and add your card that way. If that still doesn't work, just wait until you receive the card. There's an option in your online account to manually add the card number. There's no need for another login.

Well, they'll probably ask you how your day is going. They might ask you to verify some information, then they'll put you on hold for a few minutes and approve the card. Seriously, Amex's recon is the easiest ever.
