Yep, have PP. Thought about the shower there - checked it out in January. It would be easier to use a hotel but I'll probably use the lounge.
I think they have shower by the pools as well if you are not to the parks.

Lol- never mind @afan already posted that!

Any recommendations for hotels on the vegas strip? I may or may not be going on a quick weekend trip to vegas this weekend...

A question for those who have been paying attention to the Amazon Prime Day thing -- what time does Prime Day end? I have been watching the deals posted on Doc's website and hadn't seen anything that made me want to place an order, until there was a silverware set for a pretty good price. So now I'm just wondering when I can stop checking for any more deals . . .

LOL - I feel I need to stand up for all Disney and Cruise loving DH's out there. :yay:

In our household, I will happily do all the research, planning, churning, getting DW to use the right card, booking, more research, price checking, re-booking, more planning, packing (OK, I lied about that one)....AND I will still happily drive to the airport and hoist the multiple suitcases out of the trunk. :P

My wife often says I would enter a state of panic if I am not actively planning a vacation.
Ok you have me there. I AM a planner. I’m a little lost when not planning something. But really I should be planning how to sell our house and get a bigger one, not our next vacation. I’ve not started planning 2020 vacations as my butt should really get in gear fixing up the house but really I’d rather plan our next Disney trip of course :earboy2:

Ok, now I am intrigued! Although I am sure DH won’t want to pull DS11 out 7th grade for a week. Especially since two of his classes will count towards his high school GPA.
Our boys would miss that week, but DD19 will already be out. Works out well except I don't know the hockey tournament schedule. I'm gonna assume there isn't one the week before Christmas but it is possible

I’d take it as whatever answer you prefer. So yes it is! My DH loves Disney but is still un-helpful. I do everything, I mean everything. All planning, accruing of points and $, budgeting, booking, etc. and I work too. He just packs his stuff and drives us to the airport. Voila, done!
I get annoyed b/c he doesn't want wdw/dl b/c crowds/lines. He doesn't love cruising either, but out of my disney habits he tolerates it best. So I said, we use our URs for this and we still have a 7 night marriott cert and plenty of hilton points...I am open to suggestions....where would you like to vacation. Crickets...so around and around we go.:hyper2:

I'm confused on transferring MR points between spouses. I have MR's on my BGR but plan to cancel the card in Dec when the AF hits. I *need* a new card, like yesterday, but I can't seem to decide on one so just going to go with the BBP which I don't really want but it will give me a free place to park the MR's. I was going to open it in my dh's name but I'm reading mixed info on if I will be able to transfer my MR's to his account. Anyone know for sure? I was hoping MR's were like UR's in that sense.

Ah yes. I mostly just decide our destinations. DH loves WDW though. I’m the one who hates lines and heat so no busy times, no summer for me.
I decided we should do something for our anniversary next year. So I was thinking Hawaii or Alaska. DS doesn’t want to go to Hawaii. Alaska it is. I told DH more than I asked. I researched cruises and gave DH a few details. I told him we could do DCL for $$$ or another cruise line for $. His only input: just do Disney, I don’t care if it’s more $$

Possibly dumb plastiq question. Now that I've got the CIP (well, my husband does, I have an employee card), I'm looking to set up some payments. I have a car payment through Honda Financial Services. The Honda finance that comes up in plastiq has a different payer address than is on my statement. Is that normal? Do I just set them up as a new payee? I haven't checked Ford yet for my husband's car payment. (And yes, I used a support link to sign up, will be sending PM shortly).

Not sure if you got an answer yet but I would use whatever address is on your statement. I pay Honda through plastiq with no problems.

Mine lets me do all the planning, and doesn't complain except when it costs more than we should be spending. Hence my foray into the world of Chase cards and URs for hotels (we already have MR for flights but those don't work in Disney hotels).

See my DH just says yes and has no idea of budget. I put a limit on how much we should spend on our DCL cruise. He exceeded it by $200.:sad2: I pay all the bills and he has no idea what anything costs. I bet he’d be hard pressed to tell you how much his paycheck usually is or how much our mortgage is.

Frontier moved my return flight from MCO in October AGAIN today, making my departure even later (like 9:30p). When I originally bought the tickets, there were two flights scheduled. I paid more for the early afternoon departure. Then a month later the early flight was canceled and I was put on the 8p return... now 9:30p, which just sucks.

I don't suppose Disney resorts have courtesy rooms do they? The upside is that I get another whole day at Disney but I don't want to be sweaty/gross at the airport either.

Hyatt MCO day rooms are supposed to be great. Lots of people use them post cruise when they have late flights. Maybe instead of parks, you would like to do the day room, relax by their pool (again fairly nice I have read), shop the airport, ease back into the real world...

@disneymagicgirl my husband doesn’t like vacations at all. He just likes to be home! He just loves me and since I put up with his crazy he puts up with mine. This planning and scheming (for Disney or trips on points) is a huge part of the fun for me. At least he isn’t saying no!

Oh goodness, well my DH doesn't mind 'some' vacations. He is always happy to head to the beach. How that is so different from a Caribbean cruise is beyond me....we generally go to the beach at the ports. I agree, the planning and daydreaming is a great part of it all!

I offered to stick with the Alaska cruise and figure out the logistics around our out of state move that is at the same time. I would think he'd love Alaska...fishing, hiking, nature stuff...not my cup of tea at all. :sad2: But I'd do it. He just doesn't seem terribly interested. I'm convinced he doesn't like things specifically because I do like them. :rotfl: Well, I am going to ponder this VGT rate a bit longer. In the mean time I will keep asking DH where he would like to vacation, and he won't answer, and I will give up and plan what I want to do. Then he will complain about going on Mickey's boat again. Then this cycle will repeat again next year. ::yes::

Same at our house...I keep thinking we should go over some of this stuff so if God forbid something happens he knows what bills to pay and where the money is.

Made my first transaction through Plastiq today - a partial payment on my son's university tuition. Interested to see how it posts both at the university and on the Chase account. Didn't pay the whole thing since I wanted to start small for that first time.

Also used the new CIP today for the automatic billing on my Century Link account after dumping my land line for the first time ever. Makes me feel a little nervous doing that, but we never use it anymore! Of course it was a big hassle dealing with the phone company, and they couldn't upgrade our internet speed even though we've been told in the past they could. 10 Mbps isn't as great as it used to be! DH said he'd call the tech support number to straighten that out. That should be loads of fun. :rotfl2:

When I asked, the answers I received were that you can't transfer MR. In my little research I didn't even find mixed info.
What I did find was ways to at least use those points for someone else, like transferring into his frequent flyer account to pool points. But it seems a few years back Amex blocked all MR transfers to other accounts.
