I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Second month in a row neither of the 2 Staples in my area had any $200 Visa GC. I will try next month, if not, I will probably close my CIC because that is the only reason I still have it!
I don't think my staples has them anymore at all. Or the m/c's- I've checked a few times and those slots are empty on the carousel and haven't changed at all. (just the $200 with the fee, they have all the other ones there)

So, do you put one reservation under your name and the other one under P2's, or do you put both reservations (using separate card payments) under one name as eticketplease suggested?

We have not done the Edit credits yet.

All of our FN cert reservations have been in the name of the account holder it corresponds to except for Hyatt. The Globalist line has always been able adjust and let me use a P2 FN cert under my name on a continuing reservation. IHG, BonBlah and Hilton seem to be unwilling or unable to keep everything in one name as the certs are not transferrable which is why I've never made it happen.

We will be doing the Strata Elite credits for the first time soon but the T&Cs state that the reservation must be made in the name of the cardholder. FHR T&Cs state the same thing and that the card holder must be present at the time of check in. The Edit credits might be different and that should would be nice if they are.

Are they fee free starting today? I didn't see it listed on DOC but that's the only place I looked.

After booking a NYC trip for next month and another next May, we decided to switch gears on our February NYC trip. We had 2 Aspire FN certs to use. So we focused on Hilton. Shockingly, we found standard room availability at the Waldorf Astoria Park City for 4 nights during peak ski season. We were able to book two rooms so we can bring my mom along to go see some snow. The rates were 130K per night or $1957 a night once the taxes/fees were factored in. That's not a bad value for the points or a FN cert. This particular WA does fall under the list of eligible resorts for the Aspire resort credit which will come in handy.

I'm super excited to bring my mom along on this trip.

Nice that you got the $100 twice! Did you have each reservation under separate names or under one name?

So great that you were about to count the $300 annual travel credit towards the hotel reservation.
I used her card for both reservations, but put my name on both as the guest -- Chase portal makes it super easy!
