I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Does anyone know how to check when the Amex Precheck/GE benefit was used? I have multiple cards and have paid for several family members and I should have kept track. Mine is expiring next year, so I'm just trying to figure out which card to use. I can see the date on Chase but not Amex.

Thank you! I am going to make the trek to Staples and hope they have them out.
For anyone trying to max out those UR's before 10/26 buying GC's at Staples, MCGC are fee free this week. Likely to have VGC's fee free next week if the normal pattern holds up.
They had them at my staples. Sucks that I can never get the ones at Office Depot since the savings is higher.

I will head over to Sam’s Club and flip these to Disney GC’s. I love that you can split payment in person at Sam’s so I don’t get stuck with small amounts on the prepaids

I know that Capital One Venture X lounge access for authorized users is going away in 2026.

But my younger daughter is going to Europe at the end of this month with her grandmother. She is an authorized user on my COVX account. Is the lounge access available for her? If so, does she need to sign up for priority pass in advance? She doesn't have her own login on CO.

I know my older daughter used the lounge access benefit in the past as an authorized user on my COVX, but we can't remember what she did at the time. Lol.

Not the end of the world if she can't use it anymore but it may be nice for her to utilize the benefit at least once before it goes away.

Any advice would be appreciated. When I try to google the information, all posts are about the changes in 2026!

I chat with them through the app when I am not sure if I have a used a benefit or not.

She is eligible until February. I believe it’s when the change goes through. There used to be a website that you can enroll authorize users that I did in the past now it is making you do it through the app, but obviously that doesn’t work too well for authorized users unless she signs up for a login of her own and links, the authorized user card to herself.

I would call capital one the number on the back of your venture X and ask to have her enrolled. Make sure you give the authorized card number to the rep so they can see it’s in her name. Since the trip is coming soon, I would also see if they could give you a digital card that she could download on her phone before they send you the hard copy of the card.

Did I miss the Chase Ink support cut off? My support link is saying 20k only for new biz members? I thought I had more time!

ETA: DH apped anyways, using my support link. He got "we need to review your application and will be in touch in writing" or something to that effect, so it doesn't sound all that positive. 2 biz cards open (no balances, no spending), an Ink closed 3.5 weeks ago

Here’s a DP - I just got instant approval on a new CIC with 2 open Inks (both see regular use and have balances). I used a support link for the 20K. I didn’t see that language but I may have missed it. If I don’t get the support, oh well. Although, they previously said it would be good until Oct 7th. I used DD’s support (not my own lol)

They changed the language early. Unknown if they'll go by the 10/6 date or when they changed it (probably late evening 10/2).

Hoping it's just verification for your DH and that you'll get the support!

In my experience, it isn't shown in the benefits. I have chatted to get it and it took a long while, but they did get me the info eventually. I have a spreadsheet tab for this now.

I recently learned that the free companion plat card also gets this benefit, in addition to the primary cardholder. At least that is what reddit has said. I wasn't aware of that and that could help me share with family.

She registered with Capital One, downloaded the APP and enrolled in Priority Pass. She will get the enrollment confirmation via email from PP, at which time she will need to download the PP app to get the digital card. lol. :faint:

I will let her figure it out. She can call if she has problems.

Looking at her flight schedules, she may not even have time to go. My older daughter said, she didn't bother going into the lounges for her trip to Japan because it looked crowded with long lines to get in.

But good to sign up in case there are flight delays, she and grandma then have somewhere to go.

Does Chase ever give retention offers? AF just posted on my CSR ($550). I'm likely going to keep it open one more year since I just got in under the gun with the old AF, but I'm kind of waffling on it - I don't think I'll use most of the new benefits (except the $300 travel credit). If there was any bit of an incentive I'd keep it open for sure.
