I am pretty sure you have to create a new PP acct for each card that has the benefit.
SO I'm gonna try to use up some Hilton Bizz associated PP soon,
1) I have 10, I'm wanting to bring 7 friends in with me, I'll just use the physical card, this should work, right?
2) I also have a PP associated with CSR,
ETA_ I went to Chase app and followed the dots lol- figured it out for the digital card for CSR PP- does anyone carry the physical one just in case?
(ps, I don't plan to try and use both PP accts at same visit)

This should work unless the Hilton Biz PP (or the lounge itself) have a limit on the number of guests. Another thing to aware of is the possibility that there is a wait to get into the PP club. Due to the overcrowding at most PP lounges it may also be difficult to get that many people in based on capacity caps. I often carry my physical cards with me but haven't used them in a while.

I also have had no trouble using my chase (and AmEx) cards in Europe or Japan.

For those following along (probably no one... that's OK!) we got our list of cities/hotels for the Scooter Cannonball in June.

In addition to the two CRAZY overpriced nights in Seaside, OR, I was also able to book 4 nights on IHG points and a 5th night on Marriot points taking advantage of the Chase UR transfer bonus.

I still have 4 Best Western nights that I will have to pay OOP but I am happy with my redemptions regardless of the CPP value!

Is there a separate discussion thread for just the Disney Visa card?

Otherwise, I just wanna ask... there seems to be 3 main advantages to it...

1 WDW Resort discounts tend to open up maybe a day or so earlier for Dis Visa card holders

2 There's a lot of WDW restaurants that give a 10% discount for using the card

3 The 1% cashback can be used as a gift card in the parks

...and will these things keep happening for the forseeable future? (especially item #1)

Does all this seem about right? Thanks.

This thread has some good info. https://www.disboards.com/threads/disney-visa-card-do-i-need-it.3948846/

Amex keeps throwing offers at DH and now don't know know which to choose! But want to choose soon because likely closing a Biz Plat later this month, and possibly a Biz Gold next month, and then Amex may not like DH so much anymore, lol.

So we were going to go for the mailer that was Biz Gold 150K MRs for $10K spend... then he got another mailer for Biz Plat 250 MRs for $15K and we thought that was better... went online yesterday to pull the trigger and then he saw a targeted offer online for a Biz Gold 175K MRs for $10K.

I would normally say to do the one with more MRs, but if we did the online Biz Gold offer we'd be able to squeeze in an Ink, possibly a CIP before the referral goes back down to 20K URs. I think the latter sounds better because we have a lot of MRs, except I find I get more value out of the Plat coupon book than the Gold. We'll recover more than the AF on the Plat but will only get $240 back from the Gold. What would you do? Biz Plat 250MR or Biz Gold 175MR + CIP?

Sounds like a snarky answer but anything can change in the future. Card companies and their partners can change benefits or promotions at any time, sometimes without any warning.

That said, Disney has been giving special treatment for card holders for as long as they have had the Visa card - so the last 20+ years. As far back as I remember, so at least 15 years, special promos have been offered for card holders so it's a good chance it will continue (it seems to be working for them so far!)

As for #3 , there are two ways to use the cashback now. One is a Rewards Redemption card that is very like a gift card. One difference is you can use it instead of the credit card to get the 10% off dining. The other option is to use it to pay yourself back on Disney purchases. Put your Disney charges on the card and then request a statement credit within 90 days. This option is relatively recent, released sometimes late last year.

Each person is going to value the benefits differently . I think a good deal of us following this thread here have the card but use it rarely as there are other cards that provide better savings. But for frequent Disney goers or shoppers it is handy to keep in the sock drawer for the perks and promos. Chase has a 5/24 rule for approving credit cards, where they'll deny the application if you have opened 5 or more credit cards in the last 24 months. For most people it's not an issue, but for those of us playing the sign up bonus game , that's a consideration where someone might not be eligible or would rather use a 'slot' on a more valuable card. Just an FYI as you make your decision.

Thanks, I read thru that and there's some good info. However, it's mostly a DVC crowd.

Is there anyone here who used the Dis Visa to get slightly earlier access to Resort discounts (IE: 10-30%) like this...

https://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/
Ive gotten bigger discounts than the standard public discount with the visa, I cant say with 100% certainty if it was prior to offers available to everyone. If you bank with chase you can also get the same discount benefits with the debit card.

I find URs a bit more flexible than MRs, so I'd go for the biz gold 175k MR + the CIP (+ referral). But everyone is different and you need to do what works best for you. For me, dh earns a good amount of AA points with travel, I have transferred a lot of Cdn cc points to Avios and I have a large amount of AP points. So I value the flexibility of URs for transferring to Hyatt (I have also transferred some to KLM and KrisFlyer).

If you can manage the spend you might want to consider the HH AmEx with $2k MSR for a FNC + 70HH points. It is fairly easy to get ~$1,000.00 value for each FNC with SLH (for now). I might have dd apply for another HH card using the DoC NLL link (she got 1 last year).

I will be applying for another CIP shortly using dd's referral; I haven't applied for a MR card for quite a while (years).

What do y’all think about Chase replacing the Instacart credits with Doordash? It won’t be easy for me to use them. No place near me does pick up for non food items. It doesn’t seem worth it to pay a service fee + tip to use a measly $10 credit, unless I was planning to have groceries delivered anyway, but I never do. I hope Chase adds something else to make me want to keep my CSR.

There's referral links floating around for Amex Biz Gold 200k but with 15k spend. Just applied and got approved.

For those of you with experience booking Aer Lingus with Avios, is 13K one way in economy a good deal?

Has anyone stayed at the Conrad Orlando yet? If so, any tips on making the most of the resort? Taking my 16 yo nephew for a quick fall break Disney trip. We are only doing Epcot and MNSSHP. Then 2 nts at the Conrad resort (using FNC and $200 Aspire resort credit). I thought he would enjoy the pool area, it looks amazing.
We’ve stayed there twice now. Love the resort. They do charge for valet parking and I think it was about $50 ish per day. The resort credit covered that. We ate at Ceiba one of the onsite restaurants and it was really good.
