They do. But not all of them are free. This is the first time the only free option was Whole Foods. I actually rarely get kohls as an option. Usually it’s the UPS store
Ups and Whole Foods don’t do a line by line receipt. Just the scan for each return code. I got immediate emails and refunds for all the items on the two codes I had. But two times, one from each code, is still showing “refunded waiting for item”. They are going to take back my return credit if I can’t argue it with them. I have no way to prove that I took all the items in since they just scan the code at drop off and not each item.
I’ve found the same with Amazon that all options aren’t always free. Sometimes the only free option that shows up for me is to take it to a UPS store and the closest one to me is a 45 min drive. What I’ve found works is that for return reason I select “inaccurate website description” and in the comments I explain that it advertised free returns, but if I have to drive 45 min one way that’s not free. When you choose inaccurate website description as your return reason all the options- including just printing the label and dropping off and any UPS drop location- are free.

For fans of Gilmore Girls, here's how my call with the Air France rep, asking him to open up two seats they are holding so my kids can sit together (after they changed aircraft and moved our seats around).

AF: View attachment 652317

Me: Hi, it looks like Air France is blocking two biz class seats. Would you be able to open them up so my two kids can sit together?

AF: View attachment 652314

Me: So, could you put my kids in those blocked seats?

AF: View attachment 652315

Me: Yes, but the seats aren't occupied, they are just blocked by AF. Could you unblock them?
AF: No, I cannot.

ha this cracked me up almost spilled my coffee, it took my DW 5 years to get me to watch this show a good friend of mine finally convinced me to watch it and I binged it. We have been trying to get our DD to watch it I think shes too young (shes 5) and she wasn't interested (my DW has tried 2x now). I'm guessing when shes 8 or 9.

Congrats! That's a nice support bonus.

The Hilton biz comes with the option to get a free night for spending $15k in a calendar year. It's a nice back-up if you ever find yourself with a big expense at the last minute or if you just want to slow down on the new cards.

Right now there’s a free reward night after the 3K MSR as well!

For those experienced with using the AMEX hotel collection benefits: We'll be checking in to the Dolphin tomorrow booked with the $200 Platinum promo. The benefits include $100 towards dining, spa and resort activities. Any chance the parking fees will credit? Do I need to use the AMEX card for room charges in order to get the $100 credit?

Hi everyone. I have not been actively applying or researching in the last two years so I am unsure of what is new out there. We are both looking for a credit to apply. We do have a sizeable tax bill to pay and will see if using CC to pay is worth it. DH has small biz. Any biz CC recommendations?

We do already have the CSP, HH. Have had the CIP biz before too.

I don’t know the answer, but as someone new to AMEX with my new AMEX plat (and a Dolphin fan!), could you tell me more about how you booked this?

Booked through Amex travel Hotel Collection. If you book 2 nights (prepaid)you get a $200 statement credit. They offer a benefit for the Hotel collection of $100 towards dining, spa and select resort activities.
We booked two nights on DH’s card, 2 on mine.
For the Fine resorts option, you only need to book one night to get the $200. Key is you must choose the prepaid booking.

If you a looking for something without travel benefits just lots of points I would suggest another Chase Business card. The Chase Ink Cash or Unlimited will earn your 75,000 URs, no AF, MSR is $7,500.

if you want travel benefits you might look at Amex Biz Plat. Comes with a high AF $695 but has lots of benefits. Current offer is 150,000 MRs for $15k MSR.

I can easily meet any spend. we accumulated quite a few URs and have gone on many trips with it and still have over 200kURs. i would not mind getting more as we do like the benefits.

We do use our points for travel, but we have not been flying much and the $695 AF seems a bit high for benefits we will not use in at least one year.

I wil add that we also have over 120k Hilton points, and over 150k hyatt points combined. Marriott we only have about 30k. When we travel we do stay at any of those brands.

Is the CIC the only option out there at the moment?

I haven’t used it at Dolphin but have a couple times at Portofino. Yes you use the card that booked collection with. I am not sure about parking. If you don’t use up the $100 it might. I haven’t got to that point as have used the $100 on meals.

When I asked if it would credit towards the resort fee (which I see as similar to parking fee), I was told no, but i don't truly know if that's true, because obviously they want you to spend on the dining, spa or resort activities. If I were to do it again, I would probably check-in and then maybe the next morning ask to see my folio. It seems from my folio the $100 credit is one of the first things to post. You can also try the thread dedicated to Swolphin- they are super helpful.
I did use my Amex, so can't say for sure if you HAVE to use it. You insert the key into a chip reader, so they don't really look at the card you are using.

No… the CIP is also available but the MSR is $15k for 100,000 URs… might be better for you and P2 to each get a CIC/CIU.
I think one of the United cards business card has 150k miles and high MSR.
I just remembered, Capital One Sparks has a $3,000 SUB with $50k spend in 6 months.

Not specific to the Dolphin, but I think officially you're supposed to pay for incidentals with an Amex (any, not necessarily the plat you used to book). But have seen DP on Flyertalk that a hotel wanted payment with the plat. Have also seen DP where the hotel didn't care about payment with a non-Amex. Just depends on how the hotel/front desk chooses to enforce.

Looking for help on puzzling through this:

Need to book a last minute stay at a Marriott for the beginning next month. Would be $750 cash for the reduced wedding rate. Alternatively, it would cost me 60k Bonvoy points (30k/night).

I don’t have enough Bonvoy points to cover the stay - it’s a currency I haven’t invested in.

I have over 400k URs and 150k MRs. If I were to transfer one of those to Bonvoy, which would you recommend?

Alternatively, I’m open to opening a Bonvoy card (I’ve never had one, and I’m under 5/24 with no new cards in the past year). Are any of the Bonvoy cards once/lifetime? Is there any chance I could get the points in time for my stay if I meet the MSR immediately?

We have been planning to go to Universal and WDW over Thanksgiving week, I’m thinking it will cost us about $5,000. Staying at SOG and military tickets for both parks. But with the crazy wait times I’m second guessing our plans. I started thinking about maybe going to Disneyland Paris. I think we can do 6 days in Paris for the $5,000.

Hope you're not thinking Paris for Thanksgiving week. Many years ago, we did DLRP in the second week of December for a long weekend. It was fun, but soooooo cold.

i think it comes down to how many points u earn monthly in either UR and MR .
id probably check UR portal to see if its cheaper on cash via 1.5x redemption.

some thoughts though, UR is great for Hyatt and Y ticket. MR is great for J tickets. if u favor one more, use the other is my suggestion...
