I'm going to be buying Hilton points to top up for a vacation in December, buying those posts as points.com and not Hilton correct? So no benefit to me buying them on my Hilton card getting 1pp$ when I could use my BBP and get 2 MR/$ and be working towards my MSR?

Correct. Use whatever card gives you the most benefit on a points.com purchase.

Does anyone have a trick to find out how many Hilton points a full stay is? It only shows me the first night cost, when I multiply that by 4 it still tells me that I have to pay $320 in addition to all of my points. Or someone with a whole lot of Hilton points willing to look it up for me?

You can do it anytime, one offer every 13 months. I believe it is per cardholder not per card.

I don't have the card, but if it's a MC you can use it for mortgage. VI are a no go. On my Citi cards that are MC, yes, spend on Plastiq toward mortgage counted toward MSR.

They still have Disney tickets but you have to talk to an agent and she adds them. It isn’t like Universal (or how it was pre 2020) where you can look on the site and add them yourself. I had an agent price out tickets for a potential trip this summer.

So good to hear! Last time I called they weren't available, but that has been awhile ago. I can't seem to keep up these days with moving and remodeling!

I feel like this is a dumb question so asking for grace from the start... I have the SW Biz card. I earned points this statement. I have a RR account that I assumed was linked to my Biz card since I used it when I applied. How come the points from my Biz card aren't in my RR account? Do I have to transfer them over to the RR account somehow?

And the SUB points won't post until after closing statement date, correct? Not as soon as I get to the min. spend.

I'm sorry about your new furnace need! I've been following your SW CP path and have a question- did you do the Biz first and then personal rather than 2 biz or 2 personal? I've got the Biz in Dec. and am leaning toward just the personal since that's all I really need, but I know that's not always the recommended path for future options. Just curious about why you chose to go this route.

You can ask whenever. Usually you won't get anything unless it's been at least 13 months since your last retention on the same card.

Keep in mind that if you take a retention offer mid-year, you need to hold the card for a year after that date, which commits you to the next AF.

Does it work if you search one night at a time?

This is a 4 night stay? Have you considered using 5th night free with points?

That's what I'm trying to do, it's a 5 night stay. I looked each night, transferred enough points to cover the first four nights and it's still telling me that I can only use a certain amount of points and $320.

I got it figured out. I had to log out and then back in after transferring enough points to cover the first four nights.

You can SM (at least on some of their cards) so you don't have to call if you don't want to. I think we had to call about a biz card, though.

RR points will automatically transfer over from your Chase biz account to your SW RR account. When logged into Chase you should see your linked RR account in the righthand sidebar, under Rewards.
