Debt Dumpers 2025

Got a notice that certain deliveries between 5:45am and 8:45am will have an extra $7 per delivery incentive on them tomorrow morning, so guess who is going to drag her butt out of bed at dark and cold thirty am to go make deliveries? I'm making a goal to try and make $100 a day, 5 days a week. Sometimes that may be in 3 hours and sometimes it may take 5 or 6, but that extra $7/trip will definitely help!

Well, I pulled my very tired butt out of bed at 6:00 this morning and logged in. I declined the first couple trips because they were kind of far, so didn't get started til later and I only managed to get one of the extra $7 incentive trips, BUT as long as the tips stay (customers can change them up to 24 hours after delivery), I will have made $68 in delivery pay and $75 in tips, plus the extra $7, so right around $150 from around 7am to 12:15pm. Plus I got to pet a dog at one house. Not too shabby.

One order was the lady's entire Thanksgiving spread. 😂 Guess she decided it was worth the $15 tip to skip the chaos of the store.

Getting up early tomorrow again to do it all over. DH took Friday off, but I think I'm going to go out for a few hours if I can. Bet there will be a nice Black Friday incentive. 🤞

Yes. I'm going to go on to Amazon and see if I can find me a cheap lunch bag thingy. I think that'll help.
This is the one I just got. My daughter uses this one too. It is a decent size too so it will fit my bigger salad bowl and an ice pack no problem. I can't help much with ice packs as we get ours "free". Free is in quate because the medicine DD and I take needs to stay cold but they are expensive and we hit our out of pocket in January every year. DD and myself both have a medicine that has to stay cold and they come with ice packs. We get about 6 a month and just reuse them. THey are not super durable so we put them in a gallon ziploc bag just incase it leaks. But with getting so many a month it is no big deal to throw them out if need be. Ones from the store are so much better

They sell the ice packs for a couple of bucks at Walmart. I picked up 4 this weekend. I'm thinking 2-3 a day would be enough to keep it cold enough (one below the meat, one above the meat and one on the side for whatever veggie).

I just put one on the bottom and that has kept my food cold but using more would not hurt and this lunch bag would be big enough for that.

Wow! Nice hustle!!

That is awesome. Is like on uBer or something? I'm the opposite of that lady. I'd rather go to the store. Part of the fun is putting up with the holiday crowds. But I digress. Do you deliver for uBer eats or something? Sounds awesome.

It's Spark for Walmart. It took 2.5 months to apply and finally get approved to do it. It's definitely not a quick apply and start immediately thing, but seems to be worth it if you are patient and put the effort in.

got back from our errands. driving into town the traffic was actually fairly light (around 10 a.m.) but coming back (around 1 p.m.) we could already see the cars lined up at the various on ramp metering lights as they would normally be around 5. me thinks i'm glad I don't have to leave the house till after the holiday weekend.

Trying to get DW excited too. Problem is, it's my debt and not hers. It's my car loan, it's my student loan, it's my CCs. So that's why she doesn't see why she has to pay anything toward all that

does she not realize you live in Texas which is a community property state when it comes to debts as well as assetts?

Dh uses this one. Lunch box
His is much larger than mine because he packs breakfast, morning break, lunch and afternoon break. He freezes a bottled water and uses that a freezer pack to keep the rest cold.

This Black Friday sale is a great price. I might just send this to dh too.

Just a heads up to check your late fees. I didn't think I was paying any late fees because I pay things before they're supposed to be disconnected (power, internet, etc). Nope. I'm paying $10 for a disconnect notice, a piece of paper they mail you. $10 for that? That's crazy. I'm paying $27 in late fees for electric, $9 in late fees for internet (I just thought I needed to pay it before it disconnected). I'm paying $12 for a late fee per month on my bank loan. That's $48 between just 3 of them and not counting the car loan. So just a heads up. Just because you pay before it disconnects (when it's due) doesn't mean you don't pay fees.
