Do you know how often Apple products go on sale? With the Sapphire Reserve the AirPod Pro 2 are 16,600 points which is awesome as I wanted to get a new pair anyway after losing one of my old ones.
The last sale was May I think because I bought my daughter Airpod Pro Maxes (or whatever the heck they are called).

In thinking back about this app for the CIC, it had the 24 month wording on it, and I got a CIC in January of this year. (It has this wording on all business apps as far as I can see - "The new Cardmember bonus offer is only available if I do not have this card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.") Now I'm concerned if I may not get the bonus. I don't want to be the data point for this, lol. Should I call and see if they can switch to a CIU (which I've never had)? Has there been success in this type of thing, switching cards and still getting bonus? Since the CIU has the 90K offer too...

Chase won't approve you for a card unless you're eligible for the bonus. So, if approved, you're fine. If denied, then try for the CIU in 30 days. The easier way around this is to setup an EIN for a sole prop (can use the same exact name) and apply for other cards using the EIN instead of SSN. Though, I've never had a problem getting multiple inks of the same type for the same "business".

So they wouldn't approve the card still, but not award the bonus later stating ineligibility? I guess I've never paid attention on the apps, but I remember people talking about this a few pages back (when requesting the match via SM), so I went back to check and sure enough it was there.

It has not been enforced. DH got a CIC 1/21, CIU 9/21, CIC 4/22 and CIU 9/22. Got the sign-up bonus on all. (Still working on the 9/22 one but they approved the match to 90,000 once he hits the MSR. And the 24 month language was not included in his match email.)

Back in 2019 we each got 2 CIP's 3 months apart. The language was there but not enforced then either. DH got a third within 12 months of the first.

Thanks! Got freaked out when I went back and re-read that some were getting the language in the match emails, and some weren't. I really don't wanna be the new datapoint on something changing around here with Chase... lol. And I can't find the "New Account" bonus tracker anywhere either (on app or online), so that had me worried. Maybe that takes a few days to show up..

Anyone have the Away bigger carry on?

Likes dislikes? Better to stick with the regular size carry on?
We bought two bigger carry ons early in covid for 30% discount and love them! We also bought a tote bag for electronics. Even with a tote on one handle and a back pack on the other bag, neither has ever tipped over (big pet peeve of DH).

Our son and DIL has two of the small carry on's (good for a weekend) and two large bags and two totes. I set our locks to match theirs as once locked you have to know your number! Last bags we need to buy.

They moved the tracker to the UR page. On the app select the " See rewards details and redeem" and it'll be under the pending points section. It can take a day or two to show up after approval.

Can someone help me with the CSP $50 hotel credit? I just booked our late night arrival at Hyatt MCO through Chase Travel. I redeemed 26k in UR points since they are worth 25% more and charged $50.11 on my CSP. Will this payment method work to receive the $50 hotel credit or should I have charged the whole amount and not redeemed any UR's? I have been seeing mixed answers when researching this and I figured someone on the Dis would know for sure. If it will not work, then it is just cheaper to book directly through Hyatt.

Others should chime in but I thought the hotel had to be booked using cash not points in order to receive the $50 hotel credit.

I don't know, but wanted to point out that if there's points availability, you can transfer to Hyatt from your CSP and the 1 night would only cost 12-18k UR.

For those of you getting the Amex phone offer, are you the type that load all the amex offers to get more? I normally only load the ones i might use. LOL
Load until the Available stays under 100 when you reload. You can have way more (over 250 in mine now) in the Added offers but only 100 will show up in Available. My Surpass and Hilton Biz are not showing that many offers but the Surpass is where it showed up.

I saw some people on other sites posted they did it the way I did it and it worked, but no one on the Dis that I can find has said that, and I tend to trust them more. I guess I will give it a day or two and see if the credit appears, and if not, I will cancel and rebook on Hyatt's site for the best rate.

Reddit is reporting a new public offer of 75k for Southwest personal card, ending 12/5. I can't seem to pull that offer when searching online, but reddit seems to think it's a cache issue and suggested going to Southwest and from there over to the Chase site. This link was provided.

https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/so...F=FULLSITE&CELL=6PLV&cbid=6851070&clk=6851070

We had two CP last year and took 12 one way flights, so definitely got our value. We are lucky to be an hour between two decent airports. And love the flexibility of Southwest. We plotted out our plans for next year and we think we'll get enough value, so we are going to go for companion pass again.

ETA: When I log into a non-SW cc holder account on Southwest, I see the public offer of 75k. Weird cache issue. Hope support links update soon.
I see a Southwest MDD in P2's future.

I wonder if someone could do me a huge favor and look and tell me how many points it is to book 1 night at the Hyatt in MCO airport for 5/2/23-5/3/23. It only tells me from 15k points, but since I don’t have enough points in my Hyatt account to cover it, it won’t show me the exact amount needed. I want to transfer my UR points as @wanderlust7 suggested.

It's 15k. When it's only one night the points shown will be the points needed. When it's multiple nights, it'll show the lowest, hence the "from".

You can also see it on the Point Calendar under the hotel address on the booking page.
