DD had an almost finished container in her room. that's the last from a Costco (I believe) 3 pack (maybe 2 pack). I am really not happy.

I suggested she call J and J and complain. She won't do it. I may call myself.

I get annoyed by stuff sometimes, but never rude. I always feel feedback is important.

Last month it was Tasty Cakes. Bought a package at Target and they were stale. Looked all over the package and no expiration printed on it. Eventually I found what may have been a production date that was January 2021. So I called their customer service and they had nothing to say, other than we'll send you a coupon. So, I believe they knew the product was not dated. I'll be more careful before I grab a package next time. And if I can't find a date I won't buy it.

I just stick to zinc based old school rub in sunscreen. Yes it’s harder to apply, but it works better (both my kids have gotten burned with the spray, it’s hard to apply enough and if they don’t rub it in you miss stuff. Plus no aerosols or weird chemicals

Yes you look like Casper the friendly ghost however.

There’s actually a zinc spray- garden goddess if you really want spray. We use sticks for the kids faces, which work great and stay out of their eyes

Well, it was easier than expecte to finish DH's MSR for the MDD.... I was planning to finish it paying real estate tax this month...soooo I went for the IHG premier offer b/c I get a lot of use out of those points (Holiday Inns are my jam) instant approval. (I've got a mental illness obviously, I have a tough time paying over 3k out of my checking acct when I know there are rewards) On a different topic.... when did Creditkarma change format? I haven't looked in a while, and it is HARD to keep track now of latest cards opening etc...it's not in any order that I can figure out.....

I try to wear it everyday because I have a ton of skin cancer in my family (plus summer sun is intense here). You may not need it daily but for anyone who does, just use a clean product like Supergoop.

I have wanted to try Supergoop for a long time, but when I look at it in the stores there are too many products to choose from. I get confused and walk away. Is there a particular one (or a few) that you would recommend?

So when I applied for a CIC today the screen went white with nothing on it. So I refreshed the screen and the message said we need more time. I’m 1/24 and haven’t applied for a new chase card since last summer. Does the phone hotline still work? I keep looking at my chase account like a million times so far lol.

I use the cc cream which I love. I also have their resetting mineral powder which is decent but not a can’t live without.

I have very fair skin and have had a basal cell carcinoma removed some years ago. Since then I've been more diligent about sunscreen. My current favorite is Coola Classic organic Guava Mango lotion. It doesn't leave white streaks that are hard to blend in and smells really nice!

It is tied to the promotion you applied for, so if it was 65,000, that’s what you’ll get. I take screenshots now and I also make notes in my spreadsheet of the offer (SUB and MSR) for reference.

Depends on the bank. Some do, some won't. I'd do a little research on the bank first to see if anyone had success and if there's any tips. DoC comments are usually a good source. Or other blog comments, there's a few that write up bank bonuses, or try searching Reddit. redditsearch.io will search both comments and posts, whereas the built-in Reddit search tool is limited to posts. So I use that for full Reddit searches or if just searching for r/churning comments I use churning.io as I like the filter tools the dev added. r/churning has a weekly bank bonus thread so I tend to start searches there and DoC, and then branch out if I'm not finding what I want.

Of course, I check in here too I prefer Google site search for that or asking if anyone is familiar with the bank/bonus.

Sharing my data point on failed Sapphire MDD this week. The day after I was approved for CSP, I applied for CSR. I was not instantly approved. I work nights, so I went to sleep, got up at 4p eastern time, and called Recon. I was on hold for about 25 minutes before reaching a human. She put me on hold a couple of times, but was able to move credit around to get CSR approved - she did not care about CSP app and approval one day prior. Unfortunately, I was then flagged to talk to Chase Fraud/Identity Verification. She transferred me to that department where I let my phone stay on hold for 2.5 hours before I hung up (around 7-7:30 eastern time). I called back later and was informed that the identity verification department is only open from 9a-6p eastern time M-F, and it is common for them to have hold times > 1 hour after 3pm every day.

Lesson learned - call Recon early in the day if not immediately approved for second card when attempting MDD.

My DW had successful MDD in May, and I was able to obtain CSP with her referral, so it isn't all bad. Still, there's a lot of planning to go for the Sapphire MDD - waiting 48 months since last Sapphire bonus, getting under 5/24, shifting Chase credit limits, watching your hard pulls and Chase apps. It kinda sucks to put in the effort and have it fall apart because of understaffing in the identity verification department.

I was SHOCKED to see my Staples had VGC yesterday. I didn't even bother going this week to look. I'm kinda bummed I waited. My Amex is maxed right now, so I can't get anymore towards my FNC spend, but I could have racked up some spend on my CIU, LOL. Visiting my cousins tomorrow on the west side of the state. I just looked up to see what Staples I might pass, LOL. Maybe I'll try my luck at 3 on my way over there

dont forget about Barclay AA if u need AA miles... i think they have a promo of where u spend one transaction for 60k miles. believe u need to grab the application on a flight for that one though.

If you get it on the flight it's 65k miles and 1 transaction.

A lake cruise is fun. They have brunch/lunch/dinner cruises. Navy Pier has fireworks on Wednesdays and Saturdays I believe and there are fireworks dinner cruises as well those nights.
Also if you have time and a car, Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio are in Oak Park, directly west of downtown. You can also drive around Oak Park a bit and see other Wright homes as well.

Fellow FLW fan!!!! I am upset I haven't done a FLW tour since I took my students back in 2019, LOL. We normally rotate the home/studio and the Robie house.

Is the Barclays Biz the one that was hard to get. Like it needed documents sent in? Or am I thinking of a different card?

Barclay Biz hated me. I think it took 7 tries!

My experience with Chase is that they have asked for biz and personal accounts to have different logins. When I have asked for them to add the biz card to my personal login, they instruct me to create a new login for the business cards. Same is true for DH.

My banker linked my accounts for me. When he did it he said it was recommended. Maybe things have changed.

Looking at my upcoming card plans. Since I think I probably won't get lucky on the CSP while the offer is high. I'm currently 3/24. I would like to try for the MDD at some point. And I want to churn the IHG premier. Does it make sense if the CSP offer drops, to perhaps do the IHG and then do another INK card? I had the CIP, which I PCd to the CIC in Jan. I just got the CIU in June. So I could possibly do the CIC for a SUB right? Is it 24 mos between Ink bonuses, I know I can get the CIC since I've never gotten a SUB. Or do they not care at all?

I'm trying to calm my FOMO right now. So I guess I could feel better about missing out, if doing the CIC, LOL. Because if I did the MDD right now, I wouldn't be able to do the IHG card until 4/2022, or any other Ink cards.

Right now the CFF has the 5x on groceries the first year up to $12k…and this quarter the 5x bonus is groceries as well…so 9x URs on the first $1,500 this quarter

I'm still trying to understand how the FF has the 5x already,and then the 5x for this quarter..... does it give you10x on greocery?
