Same with me, except the store visit isn't showing on Chase (yet I got the e-mail from Chase).

I have been using MF and think I might keep it past next year. I find it quite useful.
I got an email from Chase saying welcome to shop with chase but it didn’t say anything about a purchase. I did get the Amex email saying I bought the Mf.
I have been using Mf and will consider keeping it. Even if I don’t get the URs - to me it will be well worth it with the Amex credit.

Has anyone used the Peloton offer on the CSR or CSP? How are the classes?

I tried out Peloton early in the pandemic when they had a three months for free trial offer. I'd been wanting to give Yoga a shot, and thought it was a great opportunity. I've absolutely fallen in love. When the offer was up, I went ahead and started paying. I didn't hear about the Chase offer the first month, but I quickly switched my payment card the second month and it's paying for it now. Highly recommend Yoga if you've never tried it. I'm *so* much stronger, more limber, and flexible. You can sort classes by instructor and level. Start with the 5 minutes "Basics" classes if you've never done it before and then give Kristin McGee a try. She's my favorite. The app is available on some streaming devices, too, so you can do it on your TV.

Dd came home from res for a little while; she's not enjoying the dynamic this semester since we are in a lockdown (meaning all res meals are pre-made and there is very little selection for her as a vegetarian).

I was talking with her and she definitely wants to cancel our trip to London, the Maldives, Singapore and Dubai. I can put my hopes of ever staying at the WA Maldives aside as they seldom release 5 consecutive nights, let alone the 8 that we have booked. Also it will cost me $55.00 per person with BA to cancel our flights and I have 3 segments booked with them, so $110.00 x 3. Boo. This trip is going to hurt to cancel, even though I know it's the right thing to do (there is zero chance either of us will be vaccinated by May and dd has severe asthma, so there is no point in taking any risks; I have toyed with the idea of just going to the Maldives and coming home, but I keep coming back to the 'what ifs' and I just don't think that I can do it).

One other thing that is really going to hurt is the fact that I might lose my Hilton FNCs. There is nowhere worthwhile using them anywhere near our house here and I doubt that they will extend them past December, 2021. I could potentially visit the Grand Wailea (solo) in early to mid-November (if I am lucky enough to be vaccinated by then), but that trip would be solely to use the certs and the $250.00 resort credit (if I keep the Aspire). Decisions, decisions.
So sorry to hear about your cancelled trip. I can't remember when it's scheduled for, but definitely wait to cancel your air tickets. BA is cancelling flights all the time, and you won't have to pay the fee. I was looking forward to living vicariously through your trip report :( I'm a big Grand Wailea fan so that's not a bad consolation prize if you can make it work.

We am here now! 😍❤ We used AmEx points, booked 4 nights and the 5th free. Had Southwest booked on points, but canceled. They changed our flight 3 times last weekend. 😭😩😳

You'll have to let us know what you think. We were going to stay for two nights on the way down to Key West, but are now also staying two nights on the way back. We couldn't find anything nice for a decent price, so couldn't pass up the 42.000 points per night for one more weekend stay!

Now I want to try it. I do 110 minutes of cardio a day but that’s it. I know I won’t age well if I don’t work on strength and flexibility.

110 minutes of cardio is awesome, but I think you'll find yoga is a fabulous compliment. I try to walk/hike 10-15k steps on most days, and yoga has really helped with muscle aches, tightness, etc. I also love the increased balance aspect, which from what I read about aging is extremely important. I went from barely being able to do a knee pushup a year ago to multiple "chatarungas" and holding my plank for a long time. The overall fitness difference has been pretty incredible. Makes me want to try pilates, too. I also love that you can do it in really small increments and it still feels great. I do anywhere from 15 to 60 minute classes depending on what kind of time I have. It's even helping my golf game. If I have time before a round, I do a quick 15 minute yoga class and it totally loosens me up.

You guys really inspire me. This past year, I've been losing weight through calorie counting - I lost 50 pounds in my 50th year lol - but I need to add in exercise. I've been afraid to try the peloton app even though I could get it free through our CSR, but what can it hurt. I never thought about trying yoga though. It's now on my to-do list!

Holy moly. That’s awesome!!!

That’s amazing! Good for you!

You guys have me inspired to try the Peloton classes now...

Yes! I bought a Feloton (Fake Peloton) that I actually got for free off Amazon, they shipped me 2, LOL. I've been doing spin w/ Cody, who I need as my GBF! I've done a few yoga too. Totally worth the "free" for now. I'll see if I keep it when that expires. I probably will.

I locked in a 2.5% on a 30 year fixed today. No points. If you take cash out, it will be a higher rate.
UGH! I will not get upset that I closed at 2.99% in October. I'll just remind myself to be happy it's lower than it was (3.25%) and it's 100% free and clear of the VA the ex let me keep at the end of our divorce. He has the right to reclaim it, and force me to refi at any time. He's not a jerk. But like our lawyer said, it's normally the new partner who brings the issues, LOL. So at least now he has it back.

uhh... reloads?
Ha, i wondered if someone would see that before I edited.

I actually don't know/understand what reloads or or how they work.

What I ended up doing is, buying an amazon gift card for the exact balance on each card (so 2 amazon gift cards) and sending them to myself and then just applying those gift cards to my account.

Perhaps not the best workaround but mission accomplished I guess!

u can reload your GC balance with it. as long as its over $.50 or $1, i forgot which.
when i hit replied to your post, it showed up as a . and i got all confused...

Are either Citi or Capital One known for closing dormant cards? I log into those accounts every so often to make sure they're still at a zero balance but I haven't actually used either of them in some time.

Yes for Capital One. They closed one of mine last year with no warning.

I feel like I'm being paranoid, but I also don't want to call and ask AMEX because I threw in some inconspicuous gift card purchases for P2's MSR on his Bonvoy Biz back in the fall. Those points still haven't posted, even though MSR was met around Christmas. I thought AMEX was being grumpy because he also signed up for his Aspire around Thanksgiving so our FNC would sync annually on both our Aspires. Today I noticed his SUB points from his Aspire posted before I even realized he met MSR (I don't count anything they reimburse, so there was about $750 in airline credits and other AMEX offers which I guess pushed him over his MSR.) What's the deal with his Marriot points? How long before I should suck it up and chat with them about the missing points? I remember them taking quite awhile to post Hilton points from the no AF Aspire in 2019 when I signed up, but everyone seemed to be in the same boat waiting for points. I'm surprised if the RAT is potentially microanalyzing his Bonvoy Biz MSR that the Aspire points posted with no issue...
My points pointed on my Amex account, so that means they should post to my Marriott account when my statement closes later this month. I need to get some things booked before the 40% promotion ends.

Any more opinions on this question? :-)
I have a few choices for us (2 player) I intend to keep a CSP for the UR pooling. If I'm missing something I hope someone points it out.
