Just spent 1 hour on line in the supermarket. I don't even know why I went. DH is panicking so I (over)bought some things to calm him down. The only thing I actually need is Lysol (or any) disinfectant spray. I cannot find a bottle for love nor money.

I am new to the chase freedom rewards. Do they allow gift cards to be purchased towards the 5% typically? I'm wondering because Kroger often has promos on gift cards and so does Meijer.

Since my kids likely have no school for the next few weeks- looking forward advice from the homeschoolers.

My son is in 2nd grade, rather advanced at math, just took a standardized test and scored in the 98th percentile.

Anyone ever used khan academy classes for math or coding? Any suggestions for other sites- I’m not necessarily looking for free, but that’s a plus.

Reading is fine, he loves that. He’ll build Legos and we’ll make him do some writing. The school plans to do some online stuff, but he generally flies through school work, so we’ll likely need some extra to fill the day. My DH needs to attempt to work from home some.

My other kid is 2, so she just gets to color and play with toys. Lucky her.

We're currently using khan academy for math, though my kids are in high school. It's rather boring, but the instruction is good. We did a lot of unit studies when my kids were young and most of our resources came from the library. TeachersPayTeachers has free and low cost material. DonnaYoung dot org is also good.

I was at Sams before 9:00, so Plus members only and it was already very busy. I used Scan and Go so no lines for me, thank goodness, because they were long. My Target wasn't bad, had to run in and get dark chocolate, lol. Umm, its an emergency when we are out in this house. Priorities! I think I was the only person in Office Depot. I had to search for someone to check me out.

I had DH grab dark chocolate for me when he was out last night!!!

Today is actually our 4 year anniversary so I’m not sure I want to spend it in Walmart lol

I didn't get that email. I have a flight tomorrow. I got in the call back line yesterday at 3:30 pm with an estimated wait time of 6 hours. Nothing yet. I had reached out on twitter too. Delayed responding back on twitter since I was in the cue. Went ahead this morning and responded back on twitter. We'll see.

Actually got thru to UO after several repeated menus. They referred me back to Chase, assured me Chase would work with me, and gave me a reference number in case they didn't. Who knows what that even means???
Called Chase and after about a half dozen calls not even going thru, got to someone, who promptly told me their system was down, and to please call back in 2 hrs.

Haven't called back yet.

I was waiting to see what would happen with our June Alaska Cruise. Looks like Canada has closed the ports until the end of June. Waiting for Princess to officially cancel the cruise and they have been giving refunds and extra incentives to book with them again.

Only think I am concerned about is the airfare. Booked with Delta Points + Cash on the way there and UR points through Delta on the way back. Right now they are not offering anything for June - not sure what happens when the cruise is cancelled. Hoping I get the points back...

Not yet but anyone who is traveling RCI in the next couple weeks should review the new procedures. For instance, as of 3/16 no one over the age of 70 will be allowed to board unless the have a doctor’s note that they are in good health.

Do any mid-westerners know if Meijer counts as a grocery store for Chase quarterly bonus categories? I thought at one time I read that they considered those to be "super stores" and not grocery stores. I'm planning on using a support link from DH on a CFU for myself in about a month, and groceries would be the perfect fit.....

I was on hold with Chase for 1 hour 45 minutes before I got through (called right at 7:00). Trying to cancel my flight from Male to Doha. The agent has put me on a very long hold -- she had to go to the Qatar website. It's frustrating -- if they had waived the change fee when I called a week ago this could have been avoided. Frustrating because Qatar Airlines doesn't have any travel restrictions in place for the Maldives.

Is 7am the secret? I've been on hold with Chase for multiple hours at a time, only to be disconnected, multiple times per day, three days in a row. Trying to cancel flights on Sunday. Twitter was not helpful - said they'd get back to me in 9-10 business days.
