No, I think there was a bit of actual singing.Did either of them actually sing during that half time show or was it all lip synching?

Emme (Jlos daughter) was definitely singing and she was fantastic!Did either of them actually sing during that half time show or was it all lip synching?
Thanks for the suggestions. I might try for the strategy for two cards, but two platinum annual fees at one time is quite a commitment. You can apply for the plat first, assuming instant approval, then quickly take the upgrade offer. Did this for my DH recently. I’d say worth a 5/24 spot considering you’re getting 2 SUBs on 1 spot. Assuming you can use all the credits.
I would not take the upgrade by itself and lock yourself out of a SUB.
75k on the new plat is possible. Try incognito, different devices, VPN, etc. And if you have a P2, a support link for even more points.
ETA: Will also add that there’s theory that taking an upgrade offer helps with the pop-up. The additional spend you’ll be doing for the SUB will definitely help.
Nice! You are way ahead of me. I thought I had 2 weeks to be prepare when I started my maternity leave. I went shopping with my mom my first day off and then early the next morning went into labor and had DS. DH was frantically trying to pack since I had done nothing and there was no way I could get upstairs to get anything. Poor, sweet DH had to leave DS and me for a bit to run home and finish getting what I needed.I’m at 28 weeks! My cousin had her baby two mornings ago. I’m so ready for him to be here. I’ve got his hospital bag packed and will do mine when it gets closer. We need to make and freeze meals still

I’m a big planner so I like having a to-do list and crossing things off. Right now we’re trying to figure out how I’ll contact Dh. He said he thinks he’s gonna have to get a one way pager from work. His work is 20-30 minutes away and then the hospital is another 20-25 in the opposite direction. I’m hoping we’ll be okay if he comes to get me to go to the hospitalNice! You are way ahead of me. Enjoy this down time until his arrival!

I had an obscenely fast first labor- 4 hours total, like 2.5 once I realized this was going fast. Even with the super fast time frame, you still would be ok. Most people tend to have longer, like 8-12 hours or more for first labor. And you don’t want to get there too soon.I’m a big planner so I like having a to-do list and crossing things off. Yeah, it was on the maternity leave to do list. I just thought I had more time since I had just seen my ob and she thought I was no where near ready. Of course, DS had other ideas. And thank goodness, DH was still home because there was no way I could have driven myself to the hospital. I would have been calling 911 or my neighbor.I’m a big planner so I like having a to-do list and crossing things off. Right now we’re trying to figure out how I’ll contact Dh. You just never know. I started at 4:30 am, left our house around 5:10 am, drove the 50 min to the hospital and had DS 8 min later. DH barely made into the room since he had parked the car.I had an obscenely fast first labor- 4 hours total, like 2.5 once I realized this was going fast. Oh good that makes me feel better! I’m a little worried I won’t know when it actually starts lolI had an obscenely fast first labor- 4 hours total, like 2.5 once I realized this was going fast. I feel like at very first it’s a bit hmm is this labor or not, but once it really gets going, in my opinion, there’s no mistaking it lol.Oh good that makes me feel better! I’m a little worried I won’t know when it actually starts lol
Seems like time has flown!!!I’m at 28 weeks! My cousin had her baby two mornings ago. I’m so ready for him to be here. I’ve got his hospital bag packed and will do mine when it gets closer. We need to make and freeze meals still
It really has! It’s good but also bad at the same time. I know he’s gonna grow up too fastSeems like time has flown!!!
Thanks, I did see that info, and then panicked when I thought the first deposit had to be by the 13th....note to self, don’t try to do too much at once. Difficult for an impatient overachiever
Ah, didn’t think about that either, good point. Yep, as @miztressuz said, I need to take a breath and move forward with a little more deliberation. Sigh......

also I think everyone worries about that the first time!
Replying on the bolded comment: Well, Chase does the exact same thing when an applicant is over 5/24. If you aren't under 5/24 your income, credit score and relationship with Chase does not matter. You aren't getting a card.
To get approved by Chase, you gotta play by their rules. Fortunately, it is easy to figure out the rules with Chase.
Amex is a little tougher to figure out. You may be right that the only thing they are looking at is what you have spent, but then again, that may not be all. Maybe they are also looking at how long you have been a customer, how long you've held their card(s), how many of their cards have you opened and closed after a year. Perhaps a combination of those factors are what determines if a person is in pop up jail or not.
I will agree, that putting all your eggs into one basket makes things very tough. This is why I have always been an advocate of diversification. If you want to diversify, then it is prudent to build a good relationship with Amex. Choose a no fee Amex MR earning card to keep forever and use for ongoing spend. Get an Amex BBP. If you don't do business cards, then get an Amex Everyday card. Both are no fee, both earn full use MR points that can transfer to their airline and hotel partners, both can earn more than 1 MR/$ spent. Hope this helps![]()
