I don’t know if DH and I are just odd one-offs but my AmEx Hilton Aspire (11/19) and DH’s AmEx Hilton Surpass (9/19) are not showing up on our Equifax CR. They are on our Transunion reports. Now to decide if I actually test it since that makes 4/24 on the CR that Chase uses.

I would also check Experian if you can. Not that I know if Amex reports to them.

Just that Chase pulled me on Equifax and Experian.

I've been accustomed to Equifax and Transunion so was slightly surprised when I saw my new card inquiry for Experian. I think they were searching me out because of the low income I provided them and high amount of already extended credit with no balances at all. I just gave them a retirement pension total and did not indicate that I have the ability to draw whatever needed from retirement accounts.

Thanks for pointing that out. Looks like Chase hits both of mine too. Dec it is.

2020 just keeps on giving. Our tiny rat terrier that has been living with my son since Covid started, died yesterday. She was 15 1/2 with heart issues, so we knew it was coming (not quite that soon), but it was still a shock. We are grateful she went peacefully in her kennel (her choice, she loved her kennel and napped in it often) and that we didn't have to make the choice for her, but still sad.
And our 2 1/2 year old dog that you may remember my stress earlier this year, as he was diagnosed with epilepsy is having seizures again. The first med worked great, but almost killed him. the 2nd med we hoped would work, and it did for bit, then he had another in early October. Ok, one every 3 months is ok. Then less than 3 weeks later he had another. So they doubled his dose (at $100 a month) thinking that would work. This morning he woke me up having another, only 2 weeks and 2 1/2 days since the last, on the double dose. They had always been in the middle of the night also, until these last two, so now we panic all day every day. Not sure what the next step is to try to control, but if we can't, it's not good. We cannot lose him, we waited so long for him, he's our special baby. What a crappy 18 hours.
Our 3rd dog, knock on wood, is all ok.
So sorry to hear about the passing of your older dog, and the problems you're going through with your other one as well. Dogs bring so much joy and love into our lives, but it truly is one of the most difficult things to deal with when they pass. Sending virtual hugs.

DH’s offer.:

And, just checked my informed delivery where I have bills for 2 insurances, plus another bill for a yearly charge that just came yesterday, all together totalling about $1400.

So, I have a 2% cash back card,(NFCU Flagship) a 1 and 1/2 cash back UR card (the CIU), and many 1 point per dollar cards.

Looks like my Marriott offer will give me the best bucks at 6k points for $1500. I figure 6K points at conservatively about $40 to $60 when redeemed for a room.

The 2% card would be $30.

I'm reaching MSR on my new CSP today when I have my HVAC system installed. And, the heat guy looked at my water heater and said, 'you need to replace your water heater soon.'

I'll replace it when it stops heating water, bursts, or barring that - when I decide to install a gas water heater, which may be soon. My electric company sent me a notice recently saying my water heater is responsible for 36% of my most recent bill. Or, maybe $38 a month based on what my bill was. I will do some research and find out if replacement means enough savings to justify replacement prior to it's natural expiry. Oh, and it's located where if it leaks, it goes into the sump pump hole in an unfinished area so no immediate worries.

It's so easy to spend money.

Yikes!!!! I guess they are planning on you having one heck of a Coronavirus Christmas!
I wouldn't bother with my offer except it's easy. But, I don't have to pay any of the $1400 I have coming prior to December, so I'll be watching for other options, preferably cash ones versus point ones.

We have a 4 1/2 year old terrier mix of some kind, that was a rescue, and the one we are scared for is our closing in on 3 years old, Aussiedoodle.
Very nice. Best wishes that you get it under control and can worrying all of the time. We are still holding out on DS’s request for a puppy.

Unfortunately it's a lifelong issue that you can't cure, so I will never stop worrying, for even a day. :-(
We just ordered some CBD oil to see if that will help at all.

Does anybody else get insanely tired of the Raise.com emails and their dumb subject lines:
Confirmed! As thanks for your loyalty: Up to 10% off tech & gaming

Well geez, thanks - I'm so glad that as a thanks for MY loyalty, you offered me NOTHING!! These are literally just gift cards they have listed on the site right now... If I hadn't saved so much money with them throughout the years I'd just ignore them, but every once in awhile, I find a gem there!

Levy Restaurants, Terralina and Paddlefish, have 35% off for persons with military ID's for the whole month of November.

On November 18, Mickey's birthday, annual passholders get 18% off.

And if I'm there in January, I'll use my $25 birthday credit at maybe Paddlefish this year as I did Terralina last year. Or maybe I'll just do takeout, if there are a lot of people around.
