I don’t know what I was thinking. I was all, yay I got flights to Osaka for only 5,000 UA miles. Sure it’s in economy but it’s only an hour. Now I have no lounge access and I’m waiting for my flight like peasant. Then to add insult to injury... after reading @SouthFayetteFan comment about updating the hotel thread and getting a slew of new reviews I burst out laughing. Not only am I waiting for my flight like a peasant but I think I just committed a cultural faux pas.

I know you said it is difficult to get to, but could you try to pool CF gift cards from the credits and use them on 1 big meal rather than being torn on a monthly dessert? If you do, just save your receipts! I believe @snugglebug had posted that she got a GC that had a $0 balance on it.

I have a coworker who shares my love of CF and this is one of her favorite perks of the gold card! She actually told me sometimes Amex just credits it to her on the first of the month when she hasn't even been to CF yet. I found that weird, but we definitely go monthly so she would easily get her $120

We struggle to use it, too. Missed August entirely, and barely used the 2 credits today for 2 $10 GCs at CCF, which for us is also a pain to get to. GrubHub works best for us, but seems to be a pain to use. DH has messed up a couple of orders and now just doesn't like to order stuff. Nonetheless, ordering through GH and picking stuff up ourselves is probably the best way for us to use it.

There was a 45 - 60 minute wait and we got seated immediately. They couldn't believe it and also thought I was joking when I warned them that the manager was going to come over and speak with us. Too funny!

PlanePrincess and I stop by a CF each month and we each pick up one $10 GC. We figure we will just use them to treat the family to dinner one of these days.

Typically, mine is spent at either Shake Shack or Cheesecake. DS and I have lunch at PF Chang’s and then walk across the parking lot to CF for dessert. I had mango key lime cheesecake this time. It was ok. I think I am sticking to the lemon raspberry though or a guava daiquiri.Shake Shack is a nice get away from the office for lunch.

I use mine every month at boxed. I wait until they have a promo. The prices tend to be a little higher than Costco so I won’t buy anything else it ends up being the same price. At least once a month they have a % discount or last week I got $15 off 100.
I usually buy our applesauces and fruit cups there.
In sept there was the promo plus the AMEX credit. I also had an AMEX offer and went through topcash for a extra $ back. (Ignore the Kirkland box / the rest was sept. Order)

I wish we had a Cheesecake Factory close. I would definitely pick Cheesecake over applesauce.

I've come to the simple conclusion that price is the biggest factor for the Party Crowd. Cheaper = more party-goers. So lines priced a little above Carnival reduce party crowd. More importantly longer cruises at the 7 day or greater range really helps.

We've done several with kids on DCL, and Princess and Carnival without. One transatlantic on Cunard, an trying Royal Caribbean next year. I also hear good thing about Celebrity.

My mom loves Celebrity. That said, I think it's an older crowd.

For those who were wondering about the Garnet Hill cashmere wrap. Here’s my review. It is soft and not scratchy. It is lightweight and keeps you warm. I like it and am glad it arrived just before our trip.

Log in on southwest.com, look under my trips and there should be a button to "Change Flight" It should all be done on that. I'm sure SouthFayette will correct me if I'm wrong.

My local chinese place gets almost all of my credits. I live an hour from a Cheesecake Factory, two and a half from a Shake Shack and when the credit started there were only two restaurants in my town that were on grubhub. I've missed only one credit, but I spent way too much for a mediocre meal at a Cheesecake Factory just to use the credit one month.

Not consistently. No. I still haven't used mine this month. I really wish there were more palatable options.

Luckily, there are a number of restaurants on Grubhub in my area that I can use to pick up lunch to bring back to work once a month to use my credit. I was pleasantly surprised that Grubhub in my area (Boise) includes a number of locally owned, non chain restaurants.
