Bigger question on Disney+... It's supposed to be included if you pay for Hulu, right? So if I pay for Spotify Premium and get Hulu for free with that, will I get Disney+ for free since I have a Hulu account lol?

By the transitive properties of streaming conglomerates and being cheap, I feel like I should get it for free lol.
Where did you see that? I know there will be a Disney+ bundle that includes Hulu, but I don't think it will be at the $5.99 price level that Hulu is. I think I saw mention of a bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ for $13.99.
Not going to get Disney+ for free because you have a Hulu sub. Sorry :( Maybe they’ll give a free trial but I wouldn’t expect anything beyond that.

Yeah, although we aren't subscribed to Hulu right now - we always drop it in the summer months when there are no shows running - I only ever want Hulu with no commercials. If there will be a bundle with that, I'm in. But it looks like it will only include the $7.99 Hulu option.

Yay! BFF has agreed to WDW so I can squeeze one more trip in. I'll be there oct 30 to nov 3 leaving the 4th. Going to stay at pip and already have an ogas adrdor the 3rd that touring plans helped me grab sunday. Fp day is sat!

ETA ot not pop. I forgot about wine & dine. Ugh

Those are our exact dates! I will wave at you from the 4 am bus on our way to the races.

I think this bears reminding:

DON’T CALL THE BANK!

about failed loopholes!

:badpc:
Truthfully guys - this is the right answer. You win some, you lose some but don’t ruin things for everybody. I cannot condone calling the bank if your points didn’t post - you lost. Move on. (And I acknowledge, that sucks!)

This is also why I put the strategy of a refundable hotel or flight out there. There are ways to safely say test the waters. Adequate warning has been given on these YMMV loopholes.

You can always cancel the subscription before next year so it doesn’t renew or use a credit card you plan on cancelling by then :rotfl:

I think BJ runs it a couple times a year. The last time was when I was doing CIP2 so April-ish? I think BJs is good for another one this fall. It would also work very well with a CF if wholesale stores are a 5x category!

@Haley R - I used a prepaid visa that has $1 and change on it. It went through.

What site has the last min dvc deals?

I see only one studio night available in any onsite DVC's between Oct 30 and Nov 3rd. That would be Oct 30 at Saratoga Springs for 15 points. Inventory changes at any time though but that being food and wine, race weekend and Halloween weekend as well, it's pretty iffy.

I didn't check one bedrooms.

Yes! Those ads are painful 😣

DVRs with commercial skip and streaming services without ads have spoiled me.

Thanks! Probably over budget anyway. Need to keep it around 200/night including any resort fees etc. Might just go cheap and rent a car, yuck. But then I'd have to drive out to mco to pick up bff. Really would like ME at least to get us there.

I don’t think we have too many Chase United cardholders, but I’ll just put this out there anyway.

United is running a one-day sale on economy Award tickets from the U.S. mainland to Hawaii for travel September 9 – December 15, 2019, starting at 25,000 miles roundtrip, plus taxes and fees starting at $12. Book by 11:59 p.m., August 27, 2019.

However, that lowest 25k RT fare is only available if you are a Chase United cardmember and have Premier Platinum or Premier 1K status. As always, award seats are subject to inventory.

For Chase United Cardmembers:

MileagePlus Member
- Starting at 32,000 miles, plus taxes and fees from $12

Premier Silver or Premier Gold - Starting at 29,000 miles, plus taxes and fees from $12

Premier Platinum or Premier 1K - Starting at 25,000 miles, plus taxes and fees from $12

For Non-Cardmembers:

MileagePlus Member
- Starting at 37,000 miles, plus taxes and fees from $12

Premier Silver or Premier Gold - Starting at 34,000 miles, plus taxes and fees from $12

Premier Platinum or Premier 1K - Starting at 32,000 miles, plus taxes and fees from $12

Do you just do the pay now option on Expedia as long as it says cancel by whatever date? I may try this for my new Citi card. I guess I'm just worried that somehow I won't get my money back lol!

Follow up on this while we're discussing the Graavy train...

I just checked Davids (dvcrequest.com). I don't see any dedicated reservations for those dates right now. DVCstore (dvcstore.com) also has last minute deals, but I am not seeing them posted online. Maybe it is e-mail only?

I hope to be one the next time a good promo is running! IDK why Chase has to issue all the cards that are beneficial to me 😂

It’s funny because United execs want customers to spend money on their credit cards, but all the benefits I value (XN inventory, 25% bonus on MPX, deals like this) only require you to hold a MileagePlus credit card, and even the no fee card will do.

The Explorer card is usually offered with the first year AF waived, then you can PC to the no fee MileagePlus card. So after meeting MSR, there’s almost no reason to keep spending on or pay an AF for your MileagePlus card. (The only spend I put on my MileagePlus card these days is to use Chase Offers on it.) Since UR transfers to UA 1:1, and UR SUBs are easier to earn and more lucrative, and Chase’s UR cards have better earning structures, there’s no reason to put spend on United’s cards when you can earn, effectively, United miles spending on Chase’s UR cards.

:confused3

So funny! I remember your analysis comparing the old enhanced United biz promo vs another CIP. CIP won hands down! I will be locked out of Chase until December so I have time 😂
