I agree. Sad there was no summer magnet! And these double festival magnets are killing me! I won’t be able to get Minnie so I will probably buy one off eBay. I didn’t get the Mickey cutting board last year because I heard about it too late and didn’t want to rework my short trip to run to Epcot more times. This year I will try to incorporate 4 swipes over 4 days, but I don’t want to make it unpleasant.
For me, it has worked like this for two debts that I have, held by different entities (my mortgage and Synchrony). I send the payment by Plastiq, they don't pull from my checking. When I don't send a payment by Plastiq, they do.
You need to set up autopay through the company you're trying to pay, linked to your checking account that you usually use to pay the bill.
I choose a Plastiq check so that I can control the address where Plastiq is sending payment.
awesome..thanks! right now I have autopay set up thru my BoA acct .... I think I need to call my mortgage company anyway today so I can verify their mail address and setting this up I guess.
2 CIP clicks would be valued at $400 so it seems they lowered their threshhold for who is getting a 1099... I know there's been scattered commentary on our thread about these letters and issues. I'm not sure if anybody actually got the new 1099 and reported back what the issues were.
so..... I dug into my CIP info.... my one and only statement closed on 7/2- that's where I got confused I guess since Payment date was 7/24...but I guess it doesn't close till 8/2.... the timing is strange. I guess I need to learn to just let it ride until it works thru
I have started a spreadsheet to track Disney gift cards bought/earned and how much I saved on them. I'm not sure how to set it up though. Does anyone have a sheet for something like that to track that they can share?
My categories are: Store bought from//Gift Card face value//Out of Pocket Spent//Reward Money used//OOP amount saved//Payment used
I feel like it's missing something or it's I'm not categorizing well.
For example I bought a GC from Staples for 51.99, I spent 51.99, but I got back $10 from Amex
So It looks like this Staples /$50/ $51.99 /$10/ $10/ Amex
I also want to add the percentage saved on that GC as a category. What formula do I use?
Mine's pretty simplistic. I just have a Notes column where I list how I got it. It's just there to jog my memory so I don't get totally detailed with it. I mostly care about Value and Cost so I don't separately track things like Reward Money used and OOP saved. My OOP is the "Cost" column. My notes column looks like this usually:
I contemplated putting the value saved in parenthesis after each but then decided I didn't care that much; decided to just bottom line it. And generally just having the source listed I recall what the offer was anyway.
Here's a template for mine with the formula to calculate percentage saved. Also has a formula for calculating where each was spent, if that's helpful. Could just be me, but it started as a GC tracker - including the GC card number and PIN - so I could trace the card should a refund or something happen. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wm1Y9UC6b8cMGmtfGNEFqgAYsApkZE40Lrx5PJ2MsN8/edit#gid=0
Now that you can combine GC's most of the "Used For" column tracks which GC that amount ended up on. So if I moved the money from card B onto card A, the Used For column has Card A listed instead of Room or Dining or Cruise. (Again, probably just me, but I like transaction histories )
I remember those days...... I have no heart for MS in it's current state.... things used to be so easy lol. I'll leave it up to you experts now and keep my game small.

I missed it. I was too tired to leave the house yesterday and let a lot of offers expire. But I can still do a few Happy cards as I added them all last night to my Giant app. Plus they gave me a $5 off $30 for regular groceries.
I've got Date, Store, Type (GC purchase - straight Disney purchase, VGC if I am flipping that to Disney, etc), Details (What did I buy, did I use GCs from a rewards program like swagbucks when buying from Sam's...), Value, Paid (OOP cost at time of purchase)
I track Amex offer/Chase offer/RMN/etc credits on a separate line since they credit a few days to a few months after the purchase. I don't count Dosh here since you have to hit the threshold to cash it out, I just move that to my general travel cash stash when that happens. But I will consider it when I decide if I am taking advantage of a deal. The same with CC points earned, if I am not going to cash them directly against the purchase (in which they would get their own line) I do not track them here but I do consider them in general.
I mark lines green as I make the purchases or when an offer credits. Any offers I am waiting on or deals I plan to take advantage of I leave in bold at the bottom. That way I don't forget to watch for Chase/Amex/RMN/etc.
I just calculate the overall percentage off of my stash, not the individual purchase. Again, I'll run the numbers when I decide to do a deal, but here I track the overall savings because if I take a trip, and say I use $500 from my stash, and the overall savings at the time is 30%, I will log here that I spent $500 of it on that trip... and it cost me $350 overall due to my GC savings.
have you scheduled United flights today or are you waiting to do the free stopover? I'm excited for you! I can't really recommend anything to do in Barcelona-our favorite thing was just walking along the beach (we stayed at the Ritz) although we did take a couple of tours with Barcelona Day Tours (Monserrat and overview of BCN visiting Park Guell). I think once your flights are purchased the trip becomes real!
Just wanted to share for those of you starting off with Serve: don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work out to load every time you go to WM. I’ve gone three times in a row with no problems and loaded at the register, but the last two times I’ve gone I’ve had cashiers who have never even heard of Serve. It wasn’t like a “I won’t do it” or “go to the money center,” they literally just don’t know how to do it. I’m planning to check back when I’m home from my conference and see if I can get someone better!

I had to fill out a paper form from my mortgage company to set it up. On the form, I entered my checking account routing and account numbers and which day of the month I wanted them to pull out the funds. It would be awesome if your mortgage allows you to do that online.
Does your mortgage company send you monthly statements? That's where I get the address off of.

Also passholders, there are 3 new magnets. 2 F&W (Minnie and Remy) and one Lion King in AK. Minnie dates 8/29-10/14 and Remy dates 10/15-11/23. Simba starts 8/29. There wasn’t a Remy photo.
I love the new Remy magnet! Did the cutting boards run out pretty fast last year? Since you have to do 4 visits we would have to split it between two weekends most likely
