I understand! I love eating at TS restaurants while vacationing in Disney. I used to get the free dining promotion back when mods got the regular dining plan. Last couple of trips I've paid for food OOP and spent a ton. I decided I just like having the dining plan, so I'm cashing out URs to cover it and happily making all my ressies! I can always get more URs!

Yup, we upgraded from QS to the regular plan, but it was totally worth it. I actually think we get a pretty good value out of ours. We are planning on doing Cali Grill one night, which is why I've gotten the Landry's GCs for Yak and Yeti and we'll just use those to pay. Also, having eaten at Yak and Yeti before, it is totally feasible to split a meal there since they give you a STUPID amount of food. We're also planning to hoard a lot of our snack credits and use them at F&W, which will be our first time ever going!

Yes, exactly! Food and Wine is another reason I'm happy to get the DDP. You are going to love it! Those snack credits will come in handy. I spent so much snacking at Food and Wine and Flower and Garden. Can you tell I love food? lol.

That's what I've always done, but for some reason now it's like it has changed all of my 'saved household member card' to the same one in all my accounts. We each have a personal and 2 business accounts now thanks to Cippy cup and me not being consistent on middle initials. I needed to add a household member card for my newest CIP, it wouldn't let me do DHs CSR or my Freedom that I daisy chain with so I added DHs newest CIP. Now I'm stuck with DHs newest CIP in ALL 3 of my accounts :confused3 I'll give it a shot again tomorrow. Maybe finally call and at least merge my 2 biz accounts into one. Will go from there...
What is daisy chaining? My dh is the only one so far with a CIP so we haven' t transferred any points yet. Just wondering so I know ahead of time if that is something we should do when the time comes.

Sometimes the Chase site won't let you link to another card due to a technical error. It's nothing anyone does wrong, just sometimes if a card is already linked to another card, trying to link to the first one from a third one fails. The work around is daisy chaining so that Card 3 sends to Card 2 (which is already linked to Card 1 and can send without issue) and then send from Card 2 to Card 1. It's usually faster than trying to fix the error that prevented it in the first place.

The annual fee on DH's CIP#1 just came due. Should I downgrade to CIC? That's the one with no annual fee, correct? Is the only other option to just cancel the card?

Since you can get a $500 SUB for opening a CIC, I wouldn't downgrade to it unless you're done with Chase Ink cards.

Personal anecdote - I got chicken pox as a kid. I grew up in the era of allowing your kids around other kids with chicken pox so they all get it and get it out of the way, because outside of having bad itches it's not that bad for most kids. Look, Mississippi was a weird place, ok? My understanding is this idea is still pretty pervasive despite it being a bad idea.

I got shingles as an adult a few years ago, in my late 20s. It was unpleasant and painful, but I think I got lucky. I hear it's worse if you never had chicken pox though. I remember keeping a distance from my dad because he never had chicken pox or shingles in his life, and was too hard-headed to go get the vaccine.
Your dad may have had it and not known. I was exposed as a 6 month old infant and my parents were told my case was so mild I’d surely get it again. I never did. Turns out my immunity is fine
My dd19 cannot get vaccines just for grins and we ran titers on her for nursing school and she does not have immunity to several diseases she was vaccinated for as a child, including chicken pox.
Did she have to get revaccinated? We were required to if titers were not adequate. Turns out all mine were fine, including for the chicken pox I got but the doctor thought wasn’t enough for immunity. OTOH I have been vaccinated for Hep B multiple times yet still show no immunity. It may be her immune system.
See I don't want to get going on the pros/cons here of current medicine but the shingles are now prevalent in a way that was unheard back in the day when people just caught chickenpox 'in the wild' and usually as children. I know people in their teens getting shingles now.
But @striker1064 caught chickenpox ‘in the wild’ and still got shingles as a young person, if I understand correctly. So the opposite of your theory.
End of June 2020!
We will be there 2nd week in June. I booked Courtyard on Harbor but waiting for the Fairfield to open award nights and will switch for less points.

My dad never got chicken pox and he was around 3 of us at the same time with them. My older brother got them and my mom let my sister and me get them. My brother was probably 8 and my sister and I were 2 and 3. I have a scar on nose from scratching them.

But he may have had a mild case at some point and not known it. My sister had it, a bad case. It went around our elementary school as well, and a child in my sister’s class caught it and died. I always wondered why I didn’t get it, turns out I had immunity. My parents probably wouldn’t have known I had it, it was only diagnosed because I was already hospitalized for pneumonia. My mom said I only had a couple lesions.

My daughter also had a very mild case of the CP..(chicken pox’s)when she was 2 and caught it from my son who was 5.....unfortunately she caught a more severe case when she was around 12

On a related note, I've never been to Vegas, so was hoping to get recommendations since we appear to have plenty of recurring visitors? Hotel recommendations? I am deciding between Bellagio and Palazzo, I think. Must dos?
Vegas local here...

What kinds of things were you looking to do?
