Thank you. I saw you had posted in the Tickets thread and was hoping you'd respond. I appreciate it.That is exactly what I did with the new AP, extended the dates out. I see nothing wrong with your idea of buying the Plat voucher and then enjoying the discounted water park promo. Enjoy!
I also find myself deferring other Chase cards to keep cipping from the cup while the gettin’s good. When the cup runs dry or you’re ready for the CSP (or MDD), DH can support you from his CSP for those extra 15k URs.
Because I’m stupid and didn’t consult my spreadsheet before posting that![]()
Now come on. Did you do that as a boy? No way my son would do that and he’d probably yell at any kid who did. FWIW in my family, we have 2 boys and 2 girls (cousins). The biggest bully is the now 13 yo girl (the 2 boys and other girl are all 10). She picks on her sibs mercilessly including hitting her brother, who does scream and cry. I’m not sure if she does it to other kids but I hope not.Does he push girls and splash them when they ask not to and continue to do it when they cry? (I’d assume not but for some reason 80% of the little boy population seems to think this is acceptable lol).
We arrived im Budapest around 9:30 and after the luggage wait/cab ride/check in line from he!! was rewarded by Bonvoy twice - our room was ready AND we received a double upgrade-not just a suite but an awesome corner suite! We made it on our private tour although the jet lag was rough. Hopefully I’ll sleep well tonightThe photo below would be better at night but I’m headed to bed soon

Universal fans... Royal Pacific is least expensive. 2,333 pts per night more to stay at hard rock. Another 1,334 to go to portofino.
With a 2 night stay is there any discernible difference between these resorts for me to want to not just “go with the least expensive” option??
Perfect!
My other PP is via Hilton Aspire so I assume it will no longer have the dining credit. I haven't activated it yet since I didn't think I could use 2, but maybe I should just in case. That still would only get 5 of us in to a lounge so probably not really an option anywhere (thinking HNL).
Tuna is people foodBut desperate times call for desparate measures. When our dog was very ill. I fed her anything. Any.Thing. I cooked for her, tried to entice her to eat any food we had, bought the crappiest food from Walmart (even though DH sells premium dog food for a living) It worked enough that she survived and made it through her illness. I know your cats aren’t sick but they are stressed.
I would park at either the BW or BC..will probably be a shorter line to active at the International GatewayWe’re planning on going Friday to activate our APs. If we want to do it at Epcot can we park in the lot with just our voucher? I’m assuming no. If not, we’ll probably park at BW or BC and then move to the Epcot parking lot after activating them.
Ps-it’s so fun that I can make FPS whenever now lol
I don’t have CSR or CSP yet, but would like to in the future. I have a question, why cancel the CSR if you can get the $300 travel credit each year? Wouldn’t it be better it keep it and be able to use the 1.5 for redeeming URs? I feel like I am missing something and am still reading and soaking in knowledge so when I get ready and am able to apply I’ll have a good plan in place.
Anytime. I do not know for a fact that one AP can buy it for others, but based on the way DAH, MVMCP, MNSSHP, etc tickets work, I assume it would be fine. You may want to post over on the tickets thread to see if anyone has done it/can confirm it, but you are usually allowed something like 4 discounted tickets per AP. Even DVC AP prices would extend to immediate family in the same household if they're not on the actual membership.Thank you. I saw you had posted in the Tickets thread and was hoping you'd respond. I appreciate it.
Can I purchase the water park passes for my P2 as well as myself if I'm the only passholder? The language is vague.
They’ve actually been much better. They’ve been sleeping for about 5 hours nowI feel for you. I have two cats also and neither likes to ride in the car. That meowing that they do is enough to drive me crazy.
Amex once sent me a box of very nice chocolates. Other than that I got the little tag and that's it that I can remember.
Babies!
My orange cat likes to sit on top of his sister too. Silly boys!
Yep that’s actually what we’re planning on doingIf DH had a CSP, you would get a referral to a CSP. The 15,000 UR would be $150 cash or $187.50 redeemed via CSP/CIP or $225 redeemed via CSR. Maybe change to a no fee CF or CFU, then upgrade DH to the CSP when it is time for you to apply for a CSP to get the referral. It would be worth it to me.
Very interesting! Thanks for sharing the post. I have only been reading daily since May so clearly I don’t know all of the ins and outs. I do know things change quickly and that’s part of the reason I didn’t go back to the beginning to try and read everything. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, so glad I found you all! It's possible to keep PC'ing so you always have a CSR, but keep double dipping on the travel credit and come out $150 ahead each year.

just watch, the next 2 trips, he is gonna find lounges he could access but cant anymore... lol.
Well, just wait til he gets to go to Timberline. He will whine more! That's why my dh is so spoiled. We were completely underwhelmed by The Lounge at MCO but we really enjoy the PP benefit at Timberline and my dh went to another PP restaurant in Cleveland. When we fly to HOU, we always fly into Hobby but I keep hoping we will fly into IAH cause they have a couple of PP restaurants, including Landry's!

Oh yeah that would be good to know because that would change things.Actually, @Lain has a good point about the CSP support points. Since they're personal cards, I think if your DH PCs to CF or CFU, he wouldn't be able to PC to a CSP until after a year (somebody correct me if that's wrong). So, if you think you'll go for a CSP within a year, might be worth paying the $95 AF to get the additional 15k support URs.
I didn’t even think about tuna being people food because I don’t eat it lol. I can’t stand the smell of itTuna is people foodBut desperate times call for desparate measures. Should we just pretend we have an adr in the boardwalk area/say we’re getting ice creamI would park at either the BW or BC..will probably be a shorter line to active at the International Gateway
I meant it varies, not all Marriotts charge a resort fee. And Swolphin does charge a resort fee but Marriott didn’t add that or change it. Swolphin always had that fee, even before Marriott. Sorry I wasn’t being clear.wait, what? So they don't charge it now that they are Marriott? I am specifically referring to charging resort fees on award stays. As far as I know marriott does so, unless something changed. Hilton (and apparently Hyatt) do not.
