Is there one at O'Hare? I don't see one listed.
I believe there is a PP lounge but I think it might be in the international terminal.

Now that I am going to US in October, I've started getting excited about the new HP ride. It opened today and I was just looking at some videos. It looks amazing. Can not wait to try this one. If anyone goes before Oct, please share experiences!!

My SIL said the lines are crazy today! There is an 8 hour wait to get on! Apparently, they have virtual queuing which is similar to FastPass where you pick a time and no Express Pass line (hopefully that changes in the future). Jimmy Fallon’s have VQ but I was able to use my EP there but it wasn’t as new.

I can’t wait to ride it on the 26th!!!

We’re tossing around the idea of an Oct trip too. Just trying to line up dates with the other folks we’re traveling with. They’re looking at Oct 30 - Nov 3 but not sure I really want to be there over Halloween as the kids are all too young for HHN.

We’ve been during Halloween time but would never do HHN. US will close early for the event and IoA will have longer hours.

We were there mid Oct last year and there was a party one night. It wasn’t terrible as we were ready to leave anyway. But since this is right on Halloween I’m not sure I want to deal with those crowds.

As for DH's pop up, I'm still thinking the easiest way might be to throw $1k or maybe even $2k in VGC/MCGC on the Amex Hilton to see if it won't get rid of the pop up. If you get the Metabank-issued MCGCs from a supermarket, they're still liquidating with only a 1% fee via Plastiq; or you can ask @vanjust14, @MrPTato, and @Natgridenergy about liquidating via MS in the greater NE area. If you want to go wild on the Hilton Biz, you can earn a Free Weekend Night cert by spending $15k on it in a calendar year. That should make Amex happy again.

Serve and Plastiq for sure. MOs are getting harder and I feel like if you go to a S&S in Mass, they are really cracking down on MOs with GCs. Rhode Island only has one or two that I found to be tricky...but it depends on who is behind the desk.

I read elsewhere that they aren't using the virtual queue today which is weird and makes no sense. So the 10 hour line was people standing in line. I don't know if there's anything other than tax free money I'd wait in line that long for and it'd have to be A LOT of money. Hopefully they allow bathroom breaks etc.

The DVC FOMO is real and I am actually staying in a Poly studio in two weeks (on cash with AP discount). I am afraid I am going to really like it and be tempted.

Let me know how they compare to the resort rooms. The hallways were definitely much nicer!!

We were upgraded from regular rooms to connecting dvc studios at the poly back in 2017. Loved the rooms so much more than the regular rooms!

I was commenting more about it not being used today for some reason, probably part of the wait time issue. I don't know when the queue starts but I think those that read it would have it thought it would start with the opening like I'm pretty sure it did with the fallon ride. Seems weird to have it and then not use it. Makes the opening lines for fop and pandora look like a cake walk. The line to get in this morning snaked through the park to the frontish from the image posted on the news thread. It's nuts. Hopefully it's better next week and the virtual queue is in place so you can do other stuff while you wait.

I was reading the same things on the US boards. I can't believe anyone would wait 10 hours in a line all the way to the front of the park. I'm excited but not that die hard. I did read about the VQ like Fallon. That would be fine. You can do other things while you wait.

I'm hoping by October it will be more normal like the other HP rides. Though I think that they said they will not have EP, maybe due to the VQ.

I've been over Halloween before. I would never do HHN. I hate haunted houses. I didn't find the crowds that bad during the day since I think if someone was going to HHN, they would wait until it opened since they would be up late.

@Alexle2007 so exciting you'll be there soon. I hope the lines calm down or the VQ works out.
