Mine’s having trouble with both WiFi and data honestly. Hopefully it’s better today. I’m so tired. I’m actually looking forward to sleeping on the plane lol
I just posted a review on the hotel thread and it turned some of my pictures sideways. I have no idea whyI know this isn't the same quote but easier on my phone. Page numbers on phones is only when landscape.
I actually don’t place a lot of stock in this one. I’ve seen people get a response like that before. I bet if he/she asked again, they’d get a different response... There is a group of people on r/churning trying to spread the “match is dead” gospel too - this could be part of that.Looks like Citi chat is denying matches with boilerplate language now:

Hi everyone! SouthFayetteFan threw me a curveball in my search for the best option in trying to maximize my rewards / SUB for an upcoming Dec trip to Italy.
Because we're tied to a specific itinerary on AA, he suggested one of the AA co-branded cards as a possibility. Would one of the Citi or Barclay's cards make sense?
I don't think AA allows a combination of cash + miles on award flights, so that further limits my options.
Well - I think we should be cautious with 5/24 status here. No reason to burn multiple slots on personal cards when the same can be achieved with biz cards.get them all! Barclay works great if u need a lot of miles quickly. u can earn the SUB with just 1 purchase only!

@cajunmommy - if you want some specific help on this one; I’d share your dates/flight preferences, travel party specifics, and what kind of miles you need to make it work. Do you have any AA miles currently. I think we have some folks here who understand AA miles pretty well and can tell you if you have time to wait or need to forego miles since your trip is less than 7 months away.
@Lain - @calypso726 - any change this is an area you guys can help with?

Anyone looking for a trip planning app, I can vouch for this one.
https://runningwithmiles.boardingar...lps-keep-trip-plans-organized-more-than-ever/I used the free version to organize our Vancouver-Alaska trip and was able to add all excursions, dining plans, etc.

3 members in our travel party - to Italy mid-December. 52,500mi/tix needed. There is a hangup in that I'm only seeing 1 award flight available for our preferred inbound leg. I can see 3 if we choose a much later arrival.
The tight timeline, specific intinerary, and restrictive redemptions are why I didn't originally include AA miles as part of my SUB/rewards pursuit., but I'm willing to at least consider. The Barclay @Albort mentioned did pop up on my radar as an option because of the easy SUB.
No AA miles in the bank at this time.
I think @calypso726 is still in NOLA. We could've discussed over beignets or snoballs!
