I think you can still go online and buy Costco gift cards with Discover or MC (no Amex) then use those for gas and Costco purchases. Just be warned they take a long time to be delivered, maybe 2 weeks, so don’t order them if you’re in a hurry.

Busy weekend! I was at a wedding Saturday and fortunately did not miss too much here with the upgrade. I am getting used to all the changes now that I am caught up.

In CC news, I got CIP #2's 80,000 URs! I also wanted to book a flight home from MCO for the end of next month on URs at 1am yesterday. I had been watching the price and it finally dropped $100, but the UR portal was down. I got it first thing today and was happy to save about 6,700 URs!

Yay! The price of a midsize SUV finally dropped for the 10 days I need it in FL. It was only 1500 more URs that what I had “paid” for midsize Carson I canceled the car. URs are already back in my account.

How were you able to tell they were there? Will my 311 just jump to 20311? I have actually spent over $3k since I used it to pay my mortgage so hopefully that helped my cause. Now to purchase the GC in the am.

It's funny - I know MMS is how I started in this but I absolutely have a lot of angst towards them. One way they are worse than TPG is drawing attention to more fringe loopholes. Even a few years back they were posting things about getting the same BoA card 4 times in a month and stuff like that. They shut down their fair share of loopholes for sure with their lack of discretion...

Darius did like 10 Alaska cards in one month too and he effectively ended that particular gravy train. Greed.
