Forever. They take like 10days. You will see an envelope from Citi and get all excited but then they’re like nope fooled you. They send the welcome letter with T&C first. :faint: Then the card will come 5 days or so after that.
Yes! I app'ed on Friday, saw an envelope from Citi on informed delivery yesterday and thought it was my new card. Disappointed it was only the welcome packet. But now I know in 5 days, it should be here.

I'm looking at my DH's citi log in. Where do you SM CIti for the 20K points match?
There is an option to chat which is on the right side with a green circle and says 'live chat'...I think. It's small.

SM is under the 'contact us' tab. You have to scroll down a bit and then you will see that option.

I think Discover knows I'm trying to login and transfer everything out of my Savings accounts, so I can close it. It keeps erroring out when I click on the savings account.

For accounts that want an outbound transfer fee, pull it out from another account. There's rarely an inbound fee so it's usually easier to add the 5/3 account to the destination and initiate from there. I had to do that with Citizens as they also charged a $3 fee, I think BOA does too. I know what accounts I'm not using to try to fake a DD ;) (and why there's usually little DPs from them)
Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Much easier than me finding time to visit the branch. I'll try tonight or this weekend.

Perfect. I was able to chat and was told he would submit my request and "to have a happy day".

Quick question about the Amex Plat airline credit. I have a reservation on hold for DD's ORD-MUC flight (UA) for August; we are limited to non-stop flights because she is only 13 and flying as an unaccompanied minor (visiting cousins in Austria). DH's CIP bonus posted this Tuesday so I'm ready to transfer some points to top off his United Explorer account, which just leaves us with $103 in taxes and fees (RT) and $300 unaccompanied minor fee. I was hoping to use my Amex Plat airline credit to help with this but the card is brand new, just came in this week, I put a couple of small spends on it already but haven't met MSR yet. Am I correct in assuming that as long as I put United down in the card account as the designated airline, this should trigger the $200 credit? Or does the MSR need to be met first?

I'm fairly certain that you do not need to meet MSR before using the airline credit. So long as you have selected United, you should be good, assuming that the charges count as incidentals (or whatever the technical term is).

Do they not refund the AF?
They told DH no for his case. I don't think he argued much. Mainly I just wanted it to go away because he had incurred TWO months of late fees/interest over not paying this AF because I thought it'd get refunded, so they had now reported it as past 30 days on his credit report. They took all the fees off/said the past due will come off credit report, so DH just paid the $19. Last AF we are ever paying on that dumb card. It was a really old secured card, not one of their rewards cards.

Also adding...if you want to read a thread full of hot air, speculation and useless arguing with the ADDED BENEFIT of virtually no likes...then this thread is for you:
https://www.disboards.com/threads/paid-fp-options-coming-soon-to-wdw.3739005/page-59 (Some of that hot air may be mine too hahaha)

HAHA! I read some of this and just shake my head. I like to keep tabs on these rumors but I'm glad I spend my workday chatting about fun stuff like credit cards vs. spitting on people's onion rings in a rumors thread :)

I've been following that thread since it was first posted about in this thread. I actually LOL'd at the 55 pages comment. Seriously, some of those folks would really drown here. Who am I kidding, sometimes I'm drowning here too. All the back and forth over there one what is, at this point anyway, just a rumor just cracks me up.

Not caught up, but wanted to say that I can see the 20,000 UR on my DH CIP that he referred me to a couple weeks ago. I guess they will post when his statement ends next week. We have finished all his spend (can also see the 80,000+ UR for that),so we are starting on my CIP that I received last week. Thanks again everyone!
