Since some of you have traveled to Australia or can figure things out better than I can, can someone please tell me what time this is for pacific standard? Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 12 PM UTC+13

I googled but couldn't figure it out because it said do this to get to central time but if it's daylight savings do this and then there's the whole date issue. A friend is getting married at this time in New Zealand and they are putting it on fb live which I think for me is actually Friday evening. I had seen posts about it but now don't see them on the event page. I just want to make sure I'm home so I can watch.

They didn't invite anyone until Sept so way past when I could have tried to get points together to go I've known him for over 20 years since college.

I did tell him about Amazon (his account) and that he should cash out. He had no clue what I was talking about.

I applied for the United biz this morning. I checked the status line this evening and it said 30 days. That's still good, right? I can't stand the waiting....

Yes. That’s still good. From here you have 3 options:
-Approved!
-2 weeks: like 30 days this basically means expect approval or denial except it will most likely happen fairly soon
-7-10 days: denied. You can wait for the letter or call. Reasons for denial can be as simple as needing to verify your address or phone number, or a rather through rundown of your business.

Used up all 4 of my Global Entry credits across 4 cards. Now I wait. Will probably do Enrollment on Arrival coming back from Scotland. Unless I can find 4 slots all together on a weekend at SFO...maybe we'll make a trip over.

I have us booked (2 rooms) on my UR at a Hilton. I plan to get the Aspire to help offset resort fee and I already have plans max out the other benefits of the card making it worth it. Better to get the card in my name or P2s? I don't know that status will do much for us, but just in case, does it matter?

Which Hilton? The Aspire comes with Diamond status, which is Hilton’s highest elite tier, so it may be worth it to get the card for the reservation holder. @calypso726 and @disneymagicgirl can probably speak more to the benefits.

I have that notice on my flight next weekend too. How did you find out the airplane type?

Go in as if you’re booking a new flight. When you find your flight, you can click on the flight number for details, including type of plane. Now don’t tell me you’re flying MDW to MCO. That would be funny.

I'm feeling so much better today, just purely exhausted and hurting joints. My goal is In-n-Out for dinner, even if it's only half of a #2 protein style.

That burger has never been better. We must have some new peeps in the kitchen because it was perfect. I kind of think I'd be saying that no matter what after a week of chicken broth and Pure fruit bars, but honestly, they always seem to mess some part up and tonight was an exception. Now if I can just get me body aches gone and energy back up I might be productive tomorrow.

But, with two rooms I'm not expecting an upgrade. I think it gets us breakfast voucher that doesn't go far from what I've read.

I can get the card, putting me 5/24 until June so no big deal. Or, he can get it which was my original plan, until I started thinking maybe I need it instead. I feel like I'm still a little too close to my last Chase card (1/29/19) where he has a month on me and I have expenses very soon that I can put toward the spend.

DH's CIP has the AF on this billing so we need to PC it. Going to do the CIU since he already has one and I want him to get the CIC down the road for the SUB. (Even though Chase has me on a smoldering burn with the current rumor of no more cruises. I'm sure I can come up with a third use of the points. ) Do you think it would make any difference if we apply for a second CIP for him either before or after the PC to a CIU? I am just so leery of breaking the rules again after getting caught in the DD debacle last September. If DH gets shut down he will be a widower and I will be 6 feet under in the back field!

San Jose TSA is no joke. Or apparently my 5’5” blonde DD18 looks like a terrorist. They did not like her ID. Her DL that she has used to fly for several trips and never been an issue. Our under 21 DLs are sideways. The guy did not like it. She said he got some Book of IDs out and claimed it didn’t match. Called 3 other people over to look at it. I guess someone finally said it was OK. She is my high anxiety child. I imagine she was freaking out.

What Marriotts have you stayed at in Orlando.......just finishing up our stay at Royal Palms..booked with URs..and wondering how other properties with 2 bedrooms are

We have only stayed at Marriott Grand Vista and Marriott Lakeshore Reserve. We are heading to Grande Vista on Sunday for a week and then to Harbor Lake for 2 days with our Marriott certificates. Lakeshore has an awesome lazy river and pool area. They didn’t build all the units that were in the original plan so it’s never crowded. On TUG, Harbor Lake gets better reviews for younger children. I have a friend coming with us for a 2 week Disney trip in April. we have a 3BR townhouse at Lakeshore for our first week and then a 2BR Cypress Harbor unit for the second week. I have alarms set for a couple times every night to check what new inventory is deposited. I’m still hoping to get a 2nd week at Lakeshore but it isbecomong less likely every day. How did you like Cypress Palms?

You weren't asking me, but I'll add my experience here. We stayed for a week at Harbor Lake last year in a 2br. It's really nice, and definitely great for kids. The pool has a pirate ship structure and slide and the kids love it. If you're looking for quiet, relaxing pool time, it may disappoint. There's also a mini golf.

The power has been out since this morning at my dh's work...Sadly, it came back up this evening and dh has had his network guys bringing back up the servers all evening. Looks like work will be on tomorrow Jeffco closed though so my dd16 doesn't have to go (she goes T/TH) and my dd18's school closed so she is home too.

Yep, upon checking in to our room I noticed a used towel and a man's dirty underwear in the "clean" bathroom. I think it's time to call.

Why don't people do what they say they are going to do and end this madness!
