You're assuming you can get into the land at all...If that's the case when I'm there then I'll just settle for walking around and checking things out and not riding the rides lol.

Andy - where you been my man! Glad to see your name back on hereWent ahead and started my mattress run at a Hyatt Place with the current 1,500 Point/night promotion (after 2nd visit). Booked 39 rooms and "checked in" last night even though we're headed to Costa Rica for 10 days tomorrow
Negotiated the rate down to $40/night w/ no tax as it's over 30 days.
Breakdown will be:
- 75,000 Hyatt Points
- $100 Gift Card
- Category 1-4 Certificate
- Category 1-7 Certificate
- 4 Suite Upgrade Certificates
- Globalist Status through 2020 (Have approx 25 Hyatt nights between now and end of 2020 incl. many Park Hyatts)
Total cost: $1,560

Based on the original post though, @Laurawill has exactly 1 Flight trip planned in the next 2 years. Earning 2 CPs may not be the best strategy, it just happens to work that earning 1, and the return they would receive on that 1 flight which is pretty expensive would work in their favor. They could instead use their spend later this year towards other points that would help offset their trip costs on their WDW trip. While I agree the CP is a great benefit, if you aren't planning to use it multiple times it really provides little value.Just piping in ( I am just catching up - like 50 pages behind). If you can swing it. I would have P2 do the exact same thing. You would get 230,000 points total and 2 companion passes. So your kids could both fly free for the remainder of this year and all of next year. It was really nice when DH and I both had companion passes and both kids were free. DH still has his. Mine has expired but planning on getting again for 2020-2021 so will apply towards the end of the year. DH can apply again next year sometime so will do that with him again too. Love flying SW. So easy to use for points and easy to change flights or cancel if needed.
Oh and I don't fly often (like the last time I flew before this was 10 years ago, and I don't plan to go anywhere else for at least a year or two)
Be careful you don't hit Dapper Days, Gay Days or UEA (Utah Escapes to Anaheim) https://www.disboards.com/threads/2019-calendar-of-events-school-breaks-and-dlr.3708938/
DS is a big Star Wars fan. He usually has a couple random days off school in October or November. Maybe I should take him to DLR. But I'm scared. It's going to be c-r-a-z-y.
Exactly! You're assuming you can get into the land at all...

My charge on my amex is still pending so I don’t see anything on Dosh yet. I picked up my order today. I can honestly say we probably won’t use sams club again unless it’s for gcs. We needed cat food too but we didn’t see Iams as an option on their site (even though their dry cat food picture is an iams bag)Thanks! Waited until this morning to pull the trigger. Worked fine for my online order! I did pay $10 in shipping but closest Sam's Club is 80 miles away. I probably could have gotten shipping lower if I didn't buy cat food, but my cat eats a lot and I really need more cat food. $20 Dosh is pending. I didn't have Chase or Amex offers but I used Topcashback for 7% back by going through their site and then copying and pasting the URL from the email link. That is pending too!
Never heard of the corn board but I’m not really into ag or farming lol. We aren’t all obsessed with corn like some people might thinkLOL-I have opened many a card just for quarterly taxes and my Plat Biz was for annual last year. It really does take the sting out when the miles/points post!
Have fun! One of my cousins is with the Corn Board (is that a thing?) so the IA State Fair is one of her busy times. It sounds like fun, I need to get up there sometime for it!
Oh no, your poor guy! I've fostered a lot of dogs after "fast kill" heartworm treatment. Please PM me if you have any questions (I'm no expert but have been through the process more time than I'd like. I hate heartworms!). The waiting and keeping them still is the worst part. I hope he does well.![]()
1. Yep!
2. Nope!
Being an AU doesn't affect the sign up bonus. Just because you have a card with your name on it, doesn't mean you have an account. You want to think of it as account responsibility/ownership when determining sign up eligibility. Who does the bill come to? Not me? Great, I can get the sign up bonus tooLikewise you having had the card before has no affect on her sign up bonus. (hopefully that made it less confusing rather than more).
Keep in mind that AU's on the CSR have an annual fee too, but that would get you separate PP benefits. I don't think anything else doubles though.
I'll be in a few hotels. Arenal Observatory, Andaz Papagayo and Punta Islita (Marriott Luxury)

Ah, I took it to mean that the CSP is closed/not a CSP anymore. But it could just be she was removed as an AU and hence "closed". Good point![]()
Agree on the checking account. On the last day of the month I transfer out everything that’s left to savings. I better not be judged for saving.0
Ah, you'll have to keep me updated!@amalone1013 My band emailed me back and said they would do the fair! I’m gonna work on sending our application in
