Not sure which library system you're in but you might see if any around you have a better lending library and if they offer reciprocal memberships. I know here I have a card with my county library system but I can also join the Seattle library and some of the other surrounding counties. It's more useful now with all of the online things that are offered between ebooks and online tools like geneaology searching etc. Along with OverDrive mine also has TumbleBook Library that says it's video storybooks and read-alongs for readers in grades K-6. I've never used it but that might be something to look into as well.

ETA the reciprocal can also be good for those with older kids as some libraries have access to different periodicals and online reference stuff which could be useful for school.

I just got my CIU in the mail, except.. it's a CIC?? They appear to have printed it on the wrong cardstock!? All the information with it clearly says Chase Ink Unlimited. Further perplexing me, when I go to verify it I am told there are no new cards for me to verify on my business account and the CIU is not there. I sent an SM asking what's up with all this.

Ha! Just noticed that my CIU also says CIC. They did put a note in that said my card design was not available at this time and they will send a new card when available. It did think it odd, as I didn't pick out a card design. I haven't had any purchased post yet to make sure they are getting the 1.5.

Regarding precheck, my DH also got an automatic precheck for his most recent flight and is now in his 60’s. (Also, I'm WAY younger than he is)

Another thing, when I found DH’s 100k MR Amex Plat SUB, the only Amex he had was an AU card on my BCP.

Hey All! I've been pretty busy lately, about 250 pages behind so not going to even try to catch up. Just got off the phone with Chase and moved my CSR to CF, the lady I spoke with asked why and I told her Disney was removed from the portal and that the card does not work for me anymore. She was shocked to hear that. Anyhow LOTS of info now on converting to a different card, she went on for about 5 mins of warnings and such... They have to send me request to 'review' to determine what pro-rated amount I will get back on the annual fee, I am within 30 days of it posting so I hope its all of it! Also warned me I might not be able to move it back to a CSP/CSR card for 48 months and cannot apply for a new card member bonus on those cards for 48 months from today... Tried to sell me on keeping the card for the 3x on Uber and such that I have never used so was not a good sell. I need to find a new goto card now. Its been a while since my last new card with everything going on.

Awesome! It really is a great offer. I got this one and the only AMEX card I had at the time was an AU off DH's plat. I do think it's easier to get if you aren't already holding an AMEX card of your own.
