Well, it looks like it’s time for me to get back in the bonus hunting game!
I am looking at trying to get a whole lot of miles as the alternative is about $12k pp in cash >.<
I have to get from somewhere in the US to Bergen then London to Amsterdam then Reykjavik to somewhere in the US
I haven’t even started and it’s overwhelming!!
Hey OP from the OG thread!
Is this all one one trip? If so, my first would be to free stopovers. Iceland air offers free stopovers between Europe and North America in either direction or one way. Bergen, London, Amsterdam Reykjavik are all options as well as MCO, ORD, CLE, DEN, MCI, MSP, JFK, EWR, PHL, PDX, SFO, SEA, TPA, IAD
Speaking of London .... @calypso726 the London production was FANTASTIC. I loved the guy who played Hamilton and some of the others were just as good/better than the original cast members we saw. The NY production with some of the original cast members still holds the nostalgic #1 position, but I am completely *satisfied* (LOL!) with the price we paid to see it. I wouldn't hesitate to see it again here, and I will be trying for tickets when we come back in June.
Oooh! Good to know. Will put that one on the "to do" list!
I've tried drinking while running and I end up with the water up my nose.
I promise I'm not the mess I sound like when I run
I opened 2 or three accounts that gave free checks so I of course ordered a check book too, and I've used them. The ones that aren't free I just transfer money or use the debit card. I've been treating the bonus accounts as regular accounts as it's been easier than waiting for money to transfer back and forth, especially if I diverted my paycheck to them. I've paid credit cards and other bills with them and then any extra money just moves back to wherever it was supposed to be in the first place. I've never paid a credit card from a bank account I funded with said card though
