Just called...30 days!I think its just a system delay in processing the application. Did you call the status line?

I'll try again in the morningSeems like that's the new 30 day message, they made the response generic online. Call the status line to get the usual responses you can interpret.![]()
Better than 7-10 days! Sending positive thoughts for approvalJust called...30 days!
I wonder if that puzzle is an eligible purchase... I could use the savings to build the bigger wall I'd need to hang itReminder to everyone that today starts the Shop Disney Friends & Family early access discount for Disney Rewards Visa cardholders!
I may or may not already have a cart full of merchandise![]()
The picture that prints out when you use the GE kiosks at customs is equally as bad. I think they must be doing some type of facial recognition between the two. (I remember when The Universal on-site hotels had the picture kiosks for the Express pass and those pictures were the worst ever.)I was shocked too! I can only hope the image is better on their computer screen cuz almost anyone can use mine. It reminded me of my pool hall "membership" card where they used the cheapest webcam attached to the oldest computer I'd seen in a long time... I half expected it to print out on a dot matrix but nope b/w inkjet at leastWhen I got the GE card in mail I laughed when I opened it and thought I need to keep it separate so I don't grab the cruddy pool hall card by accident... I don't think that has the same authority, hehe.
That’s the message I got but when I called it said 2 weeks. Hope she’s approved sending someJust app'ed for my dd18 her own CIP as a day care services bizShe does babysit. A lot! Just not always in the day lol!
She got the 'we need more time' response but no 30 days or other timeframe. I think I got this before but cannot remember the outcome. Anyone know?
I'll try again in the morningSo curious after someone here posted that they read 18yo twins got CIP's (maybe @Lain) to see if my 18yo can get approved lol.
I guess I didn’t know this. We only got the cards for our Japan trip so I don’t think we will gather too many Hilton points then
TPG notices all the chatter about the Amex airline fee credit not working on something they know it’s technically not supposed to work on. Asks AA, and writes an article about it.

I’ve been playing this game in some fashion since 2011. I’ve been hardcore since 2015. 2019 is going to be one of my most lucrative years. I know numerous others here have been at this for years. Banks will always need new customers and the signup bonus isn’t going anywhere. If you’re savvy and resourceful, willing to adapt, and up to speed on the rules, the game will go on![]()
Not directed specifically at you but this is another reason I always advise having a detailed spreadsheet of all points.
We've had a lot of discussion here recently about Theft Of points. Well you also want to keep track of last activity and any potential expiration dates on points...Here are the fields I have in my spreadsheet for this:
I then check all of this info monthly or more frequently.
- Program Name
- Person (i.e. me, wife, daughter1, daughter2)
- Points Balance
- Date of Last Activity
- Expiration Date (calculated based on last activity field - you'll need to look these up for your various programs)
- Info As Of (date I last logged in verified everything - so if something is ever wrong I can pinpoint when the change occured)
- Approx. Value (calculated based on my valuations
- Notes
- Membership ID #
Off the top of my head here are some expiration policies:
These are the programs I'm actively tracking so I don't know details on others like Hyatt, United, etc...
- Southwest = 24 months
- Marriott = 24 months
- Hilton = 12 months
- IHG = 12 months
- American Airlines = 18 months
- Delta = NEVER (wow you go Delta!)
- AMEX MRs = remain active as long as you have 1 active MR earning card
- Chase URs = remain active as long as you have 1 active UR earning card
If you use your card and earn Hilton points they reset or use the Hilton shopping portal and earn points or transfer MR into Hilton they reset etc.
As far as the CIP. Are there any additional fees for adding "employees"? And would it draw attention to the account by doing so...![]()
