I've had a dud of a couple days. It was 65 here on Thursday and by night was 20... which caused my sinuses to go bonkers. So yesterday I woke up with my ears draining and my throat sore. By the end of the day my throat was at 5 alarm five level. I have that today and a cough from the drainage. A lymph node near my throat is swollen hard like a walnut!
I had to go to HR Block for my tax appointment at 9 this morning. I knew it was going to be bad for us - the SALT change killed us and it is worse than we thought. Plus it turns out I'm missing two forms from Fidelity so I had to hold my return to wait for those but those will likely increase our tax bill more.
Had to buy a new microwave today too. Plus the closing documents on my DVC contract came yesterday so I just went ahead and sent the cashier's check - last contract it was a little while longer in between passing ROFR and the documents. Plus I paid the Hilton Amex bill from the Disney cruise that I accidentally charged instead of using the Arrival+ so I was out that money. I feel like we're hemorrhaging cash right now. Sigh.
Since I'm up from my nap and relatively lucid for awhile before more NyQuil I think I'll look at my spreadsheet and figure out how long it will take me to get back under 5/24. I've decided there's no other cards I want right now so I might as well. Will report back.
Weather here is the same way. I’m surprised I’m not sick. DH is down with the flu for the SECOND TIME in 6 weeks. He went to the doctor Thursday after I all but threatened to divorce him if he didn’t seek medical care. He tested positive for strain A and the nurse told him she had seen a lot of people getting it twice this season. So far I’ve managed to avoid it. Hoping that holds out.

Yes, I probably sound like a weirdo but they are cuddle monsters. Also, our family dog slept with me from age 12 until I went to college, and then whenever I was home from college until she passed away. I miss that feeling
ILs dogs will usually only stay with you so long before they get hot and leave.

It was pretty bad, so she threw out the dog bed. Only one really uses it, and not always - often, but she also sleeps on the couch, up on the bed during the day, with MIL at night, in the walk in shower... so when the dog bed went away she would just sit where it used to be and stare at us. We broke down and bought another (expensive) dog bed for when she feels like using it
