Our cats have a bed that they never used to use. It was in our bedroom on the floor, but when we were going through our house to get rid of things I moved it out into the end of our hallway. They lay in it all the time now. I guess they just didn't like it in the corner. Dh thinks it's because now they can see everything from the bed and feel safer. The bed is tiny, but they somehow manage to squeeze in it together. It's pretty cute.

Our two cats do that...pile into one tiny cat bed. Nap buddies!

I was never a cat person at all until I met my husband who had a dog and no less than 3 cats when we met. I had no pets at all. The dog became my dog (taking a dog running will do that) and he found home for the other two when we got married. For years we just had one cat but then 2 years ago I made the mistake of letting DH and the girls go to Petco without me and long story short we ended up with an abandoned kitty who had been fostered from birth (bottled fed). He has been the best cat and is almost a dog in a lot of his characteristics. For those with just one cat think about getting two; despite how it triples the amount of cat litter box cleanings it really has been the best. And as said before when we go out of town it is no worries; just have someone come by every couple days.

So I sent them a pm on twitter and they basically said there wasn’t anything they could do past sending the luggage to our house. They were acting like they were doing such a service by returning my luggage to me.

Dh mentioned them on twitter publicly explaining the situation and they gave each of us a $50 voucher. So apparently they don’t like being called out in public

We're watching BILs dogs tonight... and I'm super pumped because they don't have to go in their kennel at night anymore and that means they can sleep with ussssss!!! Yes, I probably sound like a weirdo but they are cuddle monsters. Also, our family dog slept with me from age 12 until I went to college, and then whenever I was home from college until she passed away. I miss that feeling ILs dogs will usually only stay with you so long before they get hot and leave.

Both the doxie we had when I was growing up and now Dude can hog the bed. It's amazing how much room they can take up when stretched out all the way for being a smaller dog. I often get grr'd at when I move him over or in the morning and it's time to get up. I turned him into a non morning dog when he was a puppy, there was no way we were still getting up at 6 on the weekends especially after a late night.

From my understanding, biz codes can be used unlimited times. (But I think just once per day). Are you looking for one? You don’t need one for your 1st AA biz card, just subsequent cards. (And remember you can only get one every ~95 days)

Yep, casually looking. I got a Citi biz card last year. I checked out the reddit thread and wasn't sure how easy it would be to buy one there since I don't really post on reddit. I haven't spent a lot of time on it yet though. Been busy with DH's Arrival plus msr, but that's done now! Of course I have my new CIC to work on... I was thinking to try to get AA points for Hawaii in 2020.

Anyone looking for a new "biz" I know of this couple that sold their house and have been traveling doing house and pet sitting for over 15 years! All over the country and I think some other countries as well. Seems like a cool retirement gig, though it would be tough without a home base. I think they sold or stored a lot of their belongings, but still not sure how you pair down enough to be traveling constantly.

The SPG Amex business card offered a bonus of 100,000 points last spring/fall (didn't see at the time but now looking into having husband apply). Any chance this amount of bonus points will reappear or was this amount just to launch the merger between starwood and marriott? Right now there is a 75,000 bonus sign-up, just wondering if it might be worth it to wait a few months.

We bought three pairs when they went on sale a couple of weeks ago. We all got youth sizes and they fit great! Love them so much!

For youth sizes to women’s size just add 2 so a youth 7 would be a 9 in women’s.

I actually buy the youth Toms regularly and my women's size 7 foot is a youth size 5.5. Other brands I've been able to buy a youth size 5 but Tom's are different for me. My dd18 wears a women's 7.5 and she gets a youth 6.
