so not starting out very well with citibiz AA. I got instant approval with a good size CL but upon adding my log in information the site times out and said an unexpected error occurred please try again later. Also, they did run a credit check on Experian. I just got the alert.:(
They always check your personal credit (inquiry) but chase looks at open new accounts. Inquiry’s don’t count for 5/24.

Apparently all I needed to do was say it out loud, because the 125k Hilton points from the Biz card have now posted. Whew! I'm guessing meeting both MSRs at the same time caused some kind of confusion/lag.
I was excited to see my CIC bonus pending. Yay! But now MSR-less. Waiting for AA biz to arrive.

I did get a weird letter in the mail today. From Citibank, saying my CitiBiz AA account is open and please call if questions. At first I thought it was my new account, haven’t received the card yet. Then I realized, it was for the account I closed last week (before I applied for a new account) Yikes, I thought maybe they reopened the old account. I looked at the last 4 for both, they are different. Then logged into old account which says closed. WTH Citibank? No idea why I got that letter.

It was big news that day, lol. :rotfl2: I am very glad that Zack isn't actually a creeper though! Whew, dodged a bullet there!
Phew! :rotfl: My mom got such a kick telling people about his van. Shes the one who took the photo of it that I posted, when my parents came out to my college for my 21st birthday
I can't wait for my tires to transition from pavement to the gravel on my mile long driveway. Getting into my jammies as soon as I get home is always the priority EVERY day that I venture out into the world. (Which is as infrequent as possible!)

Glad you are safe at home Haley. I am sure you and @amalone1013 have more than a few extra parents on this board! :D
:D

A couple months ago I told DH that I know I'm old now because I understand why the first thing my mom did when getting home was change into jammies or lounge clothes and be so happy to take off certain undergarments :rotfl2:

Don’t you work from home? Lol. My DH actually has the opportunity to work from home and he rarely does. In his defense, we don’t have an office, so his desk is in the middle of the living room. He hates any noise/distraction while he works.
Yup LOL! Sometimes it’s hard to make it from my bed to my basement. :)

I do go visit clients 2-3 days a week though and have 1 day I ride the T into town for meetings.

I made DH stay home 3 days of the polar vortex last week because he drives almost an hour each way plus parks in an unprotected lot. I didn’t want to have to drive out and get him if his car didn’t start. He grumbled about staying home. OTOH I wished I could phone in my work but healthcare doesn’t work that way (there are exceptions)

DH’s last boss was a truly beautiful woman who was always extremely stylish. Apparently her husband didn’t “let her” wear pajamas or lounge wear around the house unless they were going to bed. She could change into jeans when she got home, but wasn’t allowed to just throw on pajama pants or anything.

DH responded (hilariously accurately) that if he ever told me I wasn’t “allowed” to change into my pajamas when I got home, I’d wear pajamas everywhere we went just to spite him

Haha well my parents are at the beach for the month so they don’t have to worry about weather. My mom called today finally....she told me the squirrels were in the attic again.....snickers. But no she really did call. It was nice to hear about their trip no matter how jealous I was. I’m glad you guys can be my temporary parents

I’m supposed to sub tomorrow morning but it’s gonna be cold

FYI - it might have created the login anyway despite timing out. I had the same problem and when I received the card and went to create a new login it wouldn't let me. It turned out the login I created at application (and appeared to fail) had taken after all.

Hotel del Coronado, here we come!

Love the Del! Enjoy!

LOL-we call it the most wonderful time of the day...(to the tune of the Christmas song)...JAMMY TIME!

Lol I changed straight into my pjs when I got home. I’m so lazy

At least they are pajamas! I dress like a homeless person as soon as I get home. In winter it is even worse as I tend to layer and comfort over everything. My poor husband gets excessively excited when he sees me in anything else.

I definitely did! I ate so much food, my body was mad at me - first for feeling grossly overfed...then for starving when we got home because it had started getting used to eating 10lbs of food everyday.

I tried to ask if there was a larger credit but got shot down instantly, lol.

Ya, I definitely won't get an approval right now, much less an auto approval with my current limits. But was hoping that if I lowered CL, then even if it's not an auto approval, that it'll get approved later after calling the status line. Last thing I want to do is call in an talk about my business.

Just remember too it is overall credit level. I had to talk to chase for my first (and so far only) business card. My credit was too high on personal but they can’t just transfer over. I would wait and let the reduction go through. I reduced all of mine couple weeks all in hopes of going for CIU in 2 months. They sent me an email that said I could have more credit. It was random and unexpected. Sometimes you can’t win!

argh I clicked submit and it didn't take??

I tried again and a brief "verifying your info" flashed onto the screen but disappeared and just the application is there without anything else. like nothing in red saying I missed something

frustrating

Do you think your application didn’t go through because it hit a security firewall or something? I had that happen once when I applied for a Chase card at work. Not that I would ever be applying for credit cards at work... :)

When I was 15-16 I realized that I could change into my PJs right after getting home from school if I didn't have plans, and nobody would know.

It was liberating :lmao: Never looked back.

Oh and add me to the list that doesn’t get Hawaii. I’m glad we went last year but no desire at all to ever go back. But my parents go for 3 weeks every year. And can’t conceive of us not adoring it.

Now I could get on board with you all and Scotland. I would love to go back. We last went in 2005 just before kids. It has been way too long!

You sound like me. I like the heat turned down and my sheets cold so I am dressed in multiple layers and a robe...even to bed lol.
