I would not be happy if I saw a mouse in my house.

We still need the cat. No signs of the loudly chewing mouse anywhere in the kitchen, which is good. So it's either doing it close to the floor or has a way under the cabinets that are sealed so they can't get in. Put a couple traps under the house.

Mice are lots of places and you've probably had them in your house even if it was just under it and never knew. My NC house the neighbors had outdoor cats so I never saw a mouse until we were changing out the wood landscape border around my flower beds and found a shrew mouse that ran away.

My NC house is older than the house we're in now by 15-20 years it was built in 28 and has about an acre of woods across the street and never had a thing in the house other than the usual spiders and crickets. This house we've always had mice issues and have fixed lots of holes. There used to be woods next to us but a church built there about 25 years ago. However there's still lots of trees/woods around, the neighbors backyards are basically wetlands and we have a huge area of ivy in our front yard that is probably part of the problem too. Though you'd think they'd be ok staying inside there. Coyotes still sometimes come around and we have had wild bunnies since I was like 6. We live on a busy 2 lane road and I-5 is 1/3 of a mile to the west, close enough I heard a semi use his horn this morning and though that was probably an accident. Saw on twitter later that there was one in our area about that time so it could have been. Anyway all of this to say we aren't in the boonies but they have been displaced I suppose but a long time ago. No idea what they are eating.

Not that I was going for this card but I did finally remember part of why I was going for a Visa before the SPG AmEx announced the discontinuance, the one company I found that doesn't take AmEx is one of my bigger expenses this time of year. So now I'm trying to decide if I go a VGC route or what. I'm not sure if they take split payments so I might have to figure out how to, gasp, manufacture spend to get that on to an AmEx.

It was simply a rash of unexpected things all at once. I know most Biz Plats offers are split spend, for example the support offer is 50k/$10k + 25k/$10k. Is this offer split as well into 75k/$5k + 25k/$5k, or is it only the full 100k after all $10k?

On the plus side, both our Marriott biz 35k free nights posted, so that's one weekend somewhere.

We were sitting on the Tomorrowland bridge waiting for wishes and heard this rumble in the bushes. A legit rat the size of a small cat darted and ran right over DS’s hand. He was so disgusted made a run to scrub his hands. I’m petrified of rodents but we had to laugh and said it was Mickey.

They do. Log in on desktop and at the top, click "New Messages" to open the Message Center. There's some wording, and a "Click here" to compose a new message.

For Barclays, the clock starts upon approval, and I believe they give you right at 90 days.

My Hawaii plan is to book Hilton Hawaiian Village via UR. If I get the Hilton Aspire the $250 resort credit can be used toward parking and resort fee, correct?

@Lain is correct since this one is listed on the resort page. I just wanted to add the following for anyone thinking of getting this card. The $250 credit is only going to work at Hilton resorts. It's card anniversary year not calendar year. Not all Hiltons are considered a resort and resort doesn't necessarily need to be in the name of the hotel. For example, the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Orlando is a listed resort. Hilton does have a list of resorts that you can search. The credit can be used towards your hotel stay as well. This card is part of my long term plan to visiting Hilton Tokyo Bay in Japan when visiting TDL and TDS every few years.
