your pin codes come to u in a letter form.

edit: what @havaneselover said.
I thought it was the last four digits of the account number. I used mine a few weeks ago (didn't understand why people said they were hard to activate) but I've forgotten already where I grabbed the pin from. The visa pins are mailed from Blackhawk but I don't think the MC ones were.
Thanks. I thought those pins were just for activating the card not the pin for using it at a store. Ugh, I am not sure what I did with them and, of course, I just sent my mom 3 of them today. Now to search for that paper and hope I didn’t toss it.

@snugglebug can you please verify your Pei on reddit? It says invalid when I try it. You have the only one in either the new or old thread.

i think once they are used, it takes some time for it to process or soemthing.
i had this issue and ive message them about it. after they confirm there was no limit, i tried again and it worked.

How long?

Interestingly, I hit the email button to get the code and each time I do it gives me a new code. I'll message you a code and let's see if that works. Maybe they're one time use.

Which is weird because that's different from what @Albort was told.

ETA message in reddit :) I think it has it right?

Got the same thing again. It's weird and the only thing I can find when I google about Pei is a lot of Pei Wei stuff and then blog posts with referrals from a month or more ago, nothing newer. The last thing I saw said codes should be unlimited and not single use.

Ok, is your app updated to the latest version? The new redesign of the app went out a couple weeks ago. In that version and the same going forward, you’ll get one referral link that can be used an endless amount of times. If you’re still on an older version it’s a one time use code.

If your app is updated, please let me know and I’ll create a ticket for a team member to take a look further.

:flower3:

I just updated my Pei app and I'm pretty sure the code I just put in the Reddit group will work now. I'm one of those tech people too busy caring clients to take care of my own things lol

I think I'll spend the rest of the day updating the apps on my phone, while uploading files dropbox and setting up my new Mac. Today shall be about me.

Have you tried to press x or cancel when the card reader defaults to debit? That may switch it to the credit card option. And have you tried the 4-digit number under the silver scratch strip? For these MCGCs, I believe the activation codes come in the mail, and the pin for each card is underneath the strip.
