Do you know what the 7 numbers are for number 3? I didn't see that anywhere on my confirmation. Will that come in a later email?

I think it is just the Supplier Reference Number (next to your itinerary number on the confirmation email, to the right of the reservation dates). So I think you enter the Supplier Reference Number twice and include the suffix only the second time.

For those buying sb, swag boards are due tonight so don't be surprised if it goes back up again.

However this means maybe they'll go on sale and depending on how it went buying sb could end up on another board in the future. Dependa on what they get out of it. They only do boards once a month though and they aren't always the same so don't expect it each month.

But if she can do them Friday she should be able to leave them at the FD for you to get when you check in.
Yes - that would definitely work - and if I don't get a good response from Chase on fixing this, I'm going to go that route. Just get her a CIP in her maiden name and send her off with that, lol!

Ideally, I'd like to have them just cancel and I'll start over and book her 2 tickets in her name and my 6 tickets in my name. I'll keep you guys posted. After a 45 minute phone call I was told everybody that can help is closed for the night and they'll call me back in 24-48 hours to address this.

Interesting...I don't see that. The top of my itinerary does still say this though:
Ticketing is in progress; most suppliers confirm within 10 minutes but can take up to 24 hours. You do not need to call to confirm your booking. Check back soon to ensure your ticket has been issued.

Perhaps once "ticketing is done" it will update with that number... This whole issue is exactly what I wanted to work on this week in the midst of bible school week at church... Thanks Chase, thanks a lot! Plus that Buy 2 Get 3 promo ends on Wednesday so I kind of need to get it fixed ASAP or just live with what I got and hope it all works good.

Still catching up but remember you can put the itinerary on hold for free so if you’re not sure just start going through checkout & instead of paying select “hold”.

hahaha I had to go look that one up. Looks like they last about 3 years and had 34” pitch at all seats. THIRTY FOUR INCHES! For that pitch I’d have flown them given the chance!:rotfl2:
Does putting it on hold also hold the seats and keep the points from going up - like does it actually protect me from losing what I want?

I don't know if it keeps the points from going up, but every hold I've ever done with AA miles has never gone up during the 5 day hold period. Causation? Correlation? IDK

Hey - anybody on here tonight who has booked Universal Tickets with URs? I put in that we would use them on November 1st. Does that matter? I'm snagging 8 tickets and just want to make sure I haven't messed anything up haha!

I assume I just get them emailed to me then? Anything else to think about?
It was back in March & I’m a little fuzzy but from what I remember: Dates matter if it’s one day only because Universal 1 day prices are variable depending on the date, as per this calendar.

The fuzzy part- I can’t remember if they checked my ID when redeeming the voucher. As you now know it’s definitely just a voucher. But fwiw I do recall I took my voucher thing to the concierge desk at Sapphire Falls and he gave me my ticket. My friend bought her ticket from Universal direct and she gave it to him & he said she would just use the paper as the ticket. I don’t have access to the doc right now but I think I was concerned because the voucher said something about matching the credit card used to purchase the ticket which would have been impossible because that’s the travel supplier’s cc not yours.

This makes me feel a little better. Perhaps I'm trying to over-complicate this and I'll just order her the employee card with her maiden name as a backup. That card would then have my name and her name on it so hopefully they'd hand over the tickets. I don't understand why they can't just send me freakin' print at home tickets. I do not like the will call business at all personally - I hate the thought of getting on a 2 1/2 hour plane ride without having my park ticket in hand, lol! I'm super anal about this kind of stuff because I assume something will go wrong and I try to prevent all things from going wrong on my vacation.

I just need to let this go for tonight and go to sleep...meanwhile I'm googling everything I can on Universal Tickets, Will Call, Ultimate Rewards, etc...

I don’t know about seat selection and I just assumed the hold held the price. I literally thought that was the point of it, to hold your res at that price... In the T&Cs the only time the price changes is if you hold it in one country and then try to buy the ticket using a different country’s currency.

That's what I figured with the Disney stuff, but those washcloths :) No idea on the volume stuff but if he plans to do a lot more maybe a mic into the computer would work better. I've never done anything just listened to podcasts that sometimes bring that stuff up :)

I agree on the walking but I've got to accommodate my friend and if we're going to do 2 weeks including 3 parks, well 4 if you count TDL as 2, and walking in the city and finish with the great wall before we fly home I've got to keep it to a minimum. It was for sure a heated discussion in Paris. We do have tentative plans to do a pedicure at the Hyatt I want to stay at on Okinawa which would be our half way point in the trip so it'll help. I think I just need to plan one somewhere in a trip from now on. Gotta keep the BFF happy :) Though that's the only thing close to an argument we've had over like 8 trips which isn't bad. We also never had drama when we were growing up in school together so I think that helps too.
I probably could’ve bought everything in that store lol. I did end up getting the alien cord “eater” because I couldn’t help myself. Dh and I will have to work on the volume so we can get it to work better.

That’s awesome that you’re going with your friend. It is a lot of walking but a lot of things are clustered together so you can plan your days that way. There are a lot of short train rides you could take too.

Sleep is good.

Personally once in the park and no longer being concerned about the weird voucher I was happier having a physical ticket. My friend had to deal with that whole piece of paper being scanned all the time and had to get a special not-ticket ticket from the locker attendants to work some of the lockers since they worked by scanning tickets... Yeah, Universal is a ticket mess. But Harry Potter World is awesome!

I did the same on my CIP! Just thinking out loud, at least for 1x2000 a day, as long as my second goal and bonus stay so high, I could still break even or make a few pennies. I'll keep an eye on where my second goal goes if I'm not hitting 8k per day. Not as good as $80 per day for sure. But I'd take $20 per day.
I was thinking about this. My second goals are really high now lol. Mine is 5360 with a 439sb bonus, and DHs is 6650 with a 544sb bonus.

If I can get 4 x 2000 purchases on DHs account, and 3 on mine, I would pay $146.93 total... I'd get 8000 + 544 + 6000 + 439 + 800 (referral bonus from DHs account) = $157.83 in swagbucks… and it could go towards MSR. Might give it a go today.

ETA: Though as @afan pointed out, maybe they'll run some of the sales too again. So if I try this plan it probably won't be until afternoon/evening after they seem to typically have the sales.

Do you think if I just give my sister one of my random CCs with my name on it OR order her an employee CIP card that will work fine? It does just say that the last name needs to match...

(I think I'm more frustrated with the lack of warning on this...what If I was buying these tickets as a gift for a friend!! I never would've thought of this being an issue)
Don't quote me... :rotfl:

But last year for HHN tickets I just showed the confirmation numbers at the hotel ticket pick up desk. I didn't even bring the card I had bought them with, because it was a Hilton Biz I was working on MSR when I bought them and was done with before the trip. They may have checked my ID, but I really don't remember doing that, I think I just showed the confirmation email on my phone.

Can someone help with getting a second CIP biz card?

DH is well over 7/24.

I have CIP, CIU, and Chase Biz Cash Chase Biz cards, last one was opened 3/2019 so over 150 days ago. They were all opened under my SSN. We have an EIN though. I know I can apply for this but is there anything else I need to do? I assume when using the EIN I use the business name and not mine? Do I need to lower credit limit on the old cards? (I’ve never had to do this before).

I would apply using the same information as your first one...name and SS number....if the credit limits on the other cards are approaching 50% of your household income...yes reduce them prior to applying

UGH - well they don't warn you about this but apparently they don't send you print at home tickets. They are will call tickets...

Redemption instructions
  1. YOUR TICKET ORDER WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP 24 HOURS AFTER PURCHASE DATE.
THIS IS NOT A VOUCHER!! WILL CALL KIOSK TICKET PICKUP REQUIRED!!

    (1) At the entrance of the Universal Orlando theme parks, look to your right for the Will Call Kiosks
  2. (2) At the kiosk machine, you must swipe a credit card matching the Customer's Last Name listed on this confirmation page for identity verification only
  3. (3) When the kiosk asks for a phone number, enter the first seven numbers printed in the Supplier
    Reference Number field.
    (4) When the kiosk asks for a confirmation #, enter the Supplier Reference Number as
printed above and include the suffix beginning with –E.**
So uhhhh if your married sister is coming in from Philly and planning to hit the parks that morning before you take-off from Pittsburgh...and you put the tickets in your last name, apparently you have a PROBLEM!

:badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc:

Now on hold for going on 20 minutes with Chase trying to figure out what to do here. It's not cancel-able but had I known this I would have booked 6 tickets in my name and 2 tickets separately in her name. This is exactly what I wanted to do at midnight tonight... I called right away because I figured if anything could be done it's best to hit it immediately.

I guess my backup plan would be to order her a CIP employee card with her former last name on it and have her try to use that pick them up BUT she won't have an ID that matches that if any issue comes up.... I could also just give her a credit card with my name on it and she could attempt to use that.

I’m going to go back and check the old thread once I get to my computer, but I did universal tickets from Chase last November. I don’t think I had to show anything and was able to check in at one of the stands in the park. I couldn’t get the computer to pull up my ticket, but a guy standing there to help printed them for me.

Thought I'd throw this out here for anyone who was doing the Chase Freedom tap to pay 3xs for 500 points promo. On my 3rd transaction it has the extra 500 points, for example one purchase was $3.60 and instead of showing 3.6 points earned, it shows 503.6 points. I wasn't expecting that because I think they used to just lump sum in the bonus weeks later, IF it posted automatically and you didn't have to message them...
