I think we have one somewhere in the house, but it's never been worn to my knowledge.
My DH is the one that cooks and he does not wear an apron. No I don't but to be fair, hubby cooks 80% of the time. He doesn't wear one either. We do own one, it was a gag gift to him but I don't remember him wearing it. I think maybe Mama wore one if she was dressed up for the holidays but I don't really 100% remember that. I even have a picture of her wearing pearls taking a turkey out of the oven in the late 50s/early 60s and she doesn't have one on. I have two brother's who are chefs and they wear one at work but never at home.
It's a cute cupcake print (back from when cupcakes were all the rage) and I think I wore it once.
). So I've gone for 59% or less as I cook more than I bake. Some fireman are awesome cooks. I gotta say, my DH is a pretty darn good cook too. Since he was a volunteer firefighter, the guys rarely cooked at the station, since they were on call (the station does have a nice kitchen). The tone would go off, they would come, do their duty and leave. To then come home, the tone would go off again, and on and on it would go - wash, rinse, repeat - LOL!!!No apron here. Marie will very rarely wear one. My firefighter son, who is like a gourmet chef, especially at the firehouse, does wear one sometimes. This time here for a TV spot.

Beautiful! As I said, I wear my Pooh apron occasionally. I learned to remember it the hard way when making DD's wedding cake... 3 tiers of red velvet. Food coloring is forever.

Thanks- it was fun to make. DD was looking online at edible flowers for decoration when she saw the baby veggies, and that was it! She also really liked the "lacy" appearance from the greens, so we included them, too.Beautiful!

I have a few aprons and tend to wear them when I bake, but I always forget or don't think about it when I'm making dinner (until I splash myself with something). So I've gone for 59% or less as I cook more than I bake.

~ She obviously reacted just as you'd expect an enlightened mother in the 1970s to react, and it was no longer an issue.
