You are spot on. I could write you a novel just on all the ridiculousness with the gallbladder. She is... I went away and lost my train of thought here. Will have to post again if I remember
Even her job is a drama. She is a paralegal or legal assistant, honestly not sure which, and was given a job at an office where her mom was an assistant already... then her mom moved offices so she did too shortly after, because
everyone is so mean to her. That was a few years back. Late last year her mom retired, and
everyone is just so mean to her at the new office too! So she recently got a new job at a different office,
but the commute is just terribly long and unfair to her. It never ends. We've really felt that she's been trying to set it up so she no longer has to work and BIL has to support her, so I'm not sure what will happen going forward. She hasn't been to work since her surgery... on June 8th.
As another anecdote, she has an older sister who is divorced. This sister was booted from two or three different apartments for her cleanliness (or lack thereof) before the parents just started paying for a housekeeper instead of having to deal with moving her again. So I think that's a good example of how the family operates.
They did a plasma exchange first. Now they have to wait about a month before they will do the IgG infusions. We didn't really get the reason, but I think that is mostly because information is getting passed along... MIL has a decent grasp on medical stuff, but FIL and DH do not so when FIL tries to pass along things to DH...
