Any ideas how to fix my Hilton Biz that is under my husband's account but I applied using my name? Should I call and have it switched to his name? Or call and try to cancel it? Or leave it be? I guess I'm worried about eyes on the account or about future business cards.

By the way, I got my boys Happy Meals tonight and we got a new piece to the RV. Only 7 more to go, I think, lol!

So just to confirm — is the Hilton Biz under your name, SSN, and Hilton account number? (As in that’s how it’s listed under the account information for the card on the Amex website?) But the Hilton Biz appears on your husband’s Amex account?

I applied using my name as business name and applicant name and personal information, but apparently I was still signed into his personal account so it's under his social. He didn't have any Amex business cards so it had me do a new log in. That's when I realized it was under his, since it said Welcome DH and had all of his contact info. It assigned him a Hilton Honors number.

I’m sorry. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this to better advise. So the card is essentially your DH’s card, cardmember name, SSN, birth date, Hilton number? But the biz name is yours?

I believe so. I think the card will come with my name though? It's really bizarre how it happened. In fact I'm not entirely sure how it is recorded completely. I just know I put my info in and the emails and account say his name and information.

Still have the Amex Staples 10% back offer on two cards. Staples isn't close to me. Any good ways to use this from the couch??

I’m stumped. Makes me wonder how Amex verifies and underwrites their biz card applications, and that it’s no joke they’ll approve anybody.
Do you think calling and explaining would be best? Or just leaving it be?

We will be there in Aug too!!! When are you there? I've still not called Swan to get the MDE number. What did you ask for from them? I need to add a kid to each room also and make sure our connecting request is in the system.

I had to get the MDE for our POR room booked through AA and that was like pulling teeth! Disney would not/could not give it to me even after being transferred all around. So, I called AA and they grilled me as to why I wanted such info :scared: Had to go through and explain what MDE is and why I needed this number and then I guess they decided I was legit. Then they had to call POR to get the number from them.
Makes me wonder how many people book rooms through AA and never link them and have no idea what MDE is! 😳

Can some explain to me like I’m 5 how to “save” my Uber credit from my shiny new plat?

I’ve literally never used Uber before, but we have a wdw trip in August and I think we might use it to get to rope drop nice an early a few times.
I'm wondering this too. Uber eats is not really for me though it finally delivers to my neighborhood. Between the delivery fee + the service fee (which apparently is not a tip), I spend most of the credit on having the food delivered. Would love to understand this trick:)

Ugh, that is annoying! It was very easy to get the number from the Swan. The number to call is 800-227-1500. We will be there August 23-26, when will you be there?
ETA: I just explained that I booked through AA and was looking for the Disney confirmation number.

I’d be afraid to call... I mean, if they approved the card it clearly didn’t bother them too much. Unless there’s some reason you specifically don’t want your husband to have that card, I’d probably just let it go. Wonder if you could refer from that card to your own with the same business name but under your own account.

They’re comfortable in the house now  The orange one finally last night walked around and wasn’t scared. He was deathly afraid of the fans and is still nervous but he’s actually walked around the whole house and sitting with us now!

How does it work for using UR like that? Transfer the points to the hotel chain you are stopping at?

You just use them through the portal, no need to mess around with transferring! It’s super easy. Now not ALL hotels are always listed, but usually there are plenty to choose from. We do a LOT of one night stops so we are not too picky, I just read reviews and make sure they are clean and safe. HIE has definitely become our go to, a pretty consistent product, free breakfast too. We literally usually spend only about 10 or 11 hours in those rooms on stopovers, most of which is sleeping! The only problem is that the point value is so much better using UR for IHG bookings that I can’t bring myself to redeem our IHG points for the ridiculous points rates on their website...so we are sitting on about 500,000 IHG points which is really silly because they are obviously only going to become less valuable!

I have also found REALLY good value booking some of our non-chain hotels that we will be using in Australia through the portal. Destinations like that can be tricky because they don’t have the quantity of chain hotels that we have here outside of big cities, thus it’s harder to use my IHG or Marriott points. So the URs have come in very handy!

Hello from beautiful Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. Not really a vacation that can utilize our churning methods but I did make $150 on the car ride here with about 5 minutes of effort signing myself up and then referring DH to the SoFi bank bonus (both bonuses and referral posted the next morning!). Offsets the cost of our new bear proof cooler we had to run out and get after a raccoon got into our cooler the first night :dog2::oops:

I've been MIA due to my kids' last day of school Friday and everything that goes with it.

I'm tracking UAL saver fares daily to see what has changed since their award chart has been pulled. I'll be buying at least a one way UAL ticket EWR to NRT in mid August and it looks like they are finally releasing some business saver fares for May. They are not great - would have to have mixed cabin to DC but that's only 1.5 hour flight so I can do that! May have to fly Air Canada back connecting through Quebec, mixed cabin but I'd do that no problem, however that is 80k instead of 70k miles per ticket. I'm worried about the timing with the Olympics, even though they end Aug 9 that stil might thin out the saver availability.

I have the points for outbound but not inbound. It's a race against the clock and I cannot drink from the cup until my husband's CSR and Freedom accounts are removed from my credit report.
