So on the Serve website -> withdraw money -> transfer to a bank?
I’m sure that’s what it is, I just don’t want myself to make any more mistakes! Thanks @speedyfishy!

I totally overpacked for our (first) cruise but still managed to forget things. In my defense there was no where to buy stuff once we were onboard. I didn’t notice any of the things on your list in the gift shops except shirts/sweatshirts/sweatpants (maybe pajamas). I also managed to forget at least 1 item on each excursion. Totally overwhelmed with the cruise planning.1)underwear
2) swimsuit (I've also bought one on the ship)/sandals/flip flops
3) casual clothes (tshirts, shorts, capris, workout clothes)
4) sweatshirt/hoodie (it can be cold on the ship since the A/C works well)
5) sunscreen
6) makeup/toothbrush/toothpaste
7)brush/scrunchie
8) slightly dressier outfit for MDRs
9) Palo approved outfit if going there (or one of the fancy restaurants in WDW)
I used a packing app to help me a bit. Pack The Bag.Thanks!!! Were doing Remy for our anniversary dinner, and I completely forgot that there's a dress code for those onboard adult restaurants. And I would've forgot my retainers too, so thanks for that reminder! My packing list is gettting longer and longer.
We brought on a 6 pack and 2 bottles of wine and didn’t even get to the 2nd bottle of wine. We also had a bottle of champagne in the room on arrival but we didn’t spend much time in the room to drink.DCL is still one of the most lenient, you can bring just about anything on as long as you can carry it on. It was even better when they allowed liquorNow we must be content with only wine and beer

Wow, you spent a LOT of time on that.Lol - you don't have to ask me. This thread is of the DISchurners. by the DISchurners, for the DISchurners!!! But I think it's always cool to throw a little BOLD headline out there to draw attention to it:
@speedyfishy has an AWESOME fun exercise idea. Hot on the heels of the TREMENDOUS success of Marriott's new "Bonvoyed" initiative, Disney has decided to create it's own Loyalty & Status Program and it's YOUR job to help design it. I guess we'll limit this to American Parks to keep it (slightly) simple or you can just focus on WDW if that's easier. What would Silver, Gold & Platinum look like? How many nights would you have to stay to reach that level? Feel free to be as detailed as you like.
Mine will be WDW only just for simplicity, lol!

I’ve had an AARP membership for over a year and never found anything to use it for.It does for Hilton, so I'd assume so. In other news, I discovered this week that an AARP membership is open to any age, and around $15 and has discounts comparable to AAA. Yay for that!
I got a card for DS10 but couldn’t activate without SS# which then told me he wasn’t old enough. I didn’t try to use it without activatingThank you for the reply! A few DP’s on Reddit that you have 60 days to provide an SSN. I think I’ll give it a try and worst case I’m not able to activate without providing SSN. I’ll report back. 5k MR is nice but not worth a new open account on the credit report.
Edited to add: Just requested one in my DD’s name (8) and left date of birth and SSN blank. Both indicate they must be provided within 60 days of card being issued or the card will be cancelled. We’ll see if I’m able to activate and use for those 60 days (hopefully I’ll only need it for a few days to meet the $500 MSR).
Citi is weird. DH was denied a 2nd Biz Card almost 18 months after closing his account (over 2 years after he got it) and their reason was he already has a delinquent account with them. Um nope, he closed it.I forgot to say "congrats" on the approval. I hope you get the bonus. I may try again in the future. I've got another card to keep me busy for now.![]()

Someone asking for advice on if they would qualify for a car loan with their credit score and 5 revolving accounts. My favorite part was the line at the end.

We stayed at the Fairfield in May and were really happy with it. Yes, it is an older motel style with external hallways but I thought it was renovated well. The bathrooms were updated and very clean. The first night I was awoken by the fireworks and then later by people walking through in the hallway. After that I did wear the earplugs and was still awoken by the fireworks, but I could live with that since we were so close. Depending if you make the light to cross the street it was ten minutes to the gates. I loved being so close. No microwave in the room, but there were some to use on the floor with the Pizza Hut Express. The pool was just your basic pool, but clean and did its job. I'd stay there again if we go.Please tell me your thought on the Fairfield when you have the time.
I really want to stay at the BW but it looks like those points might be needed on Kodiak Island, as there is no Marriott there. Imagine that! LOL
Nope, that's perfectly fine! Seeing the other numbers, that looks better for a total picture as your anniversary points and pending points now add up to more than your total spent, even without the shop through Chase number.
You should see the bonus points pending about a week or so after the purchase that put you over 5k posted. They won't count any fees incurred along the way like the AF, cash advance fees or interest.
Thanks for this! Do you recall if they had a hot tub/whirlpool? I doubt in November we will use an outside pool but maybe a hot tub to soak in after walking around all day.We stayed at the Fairfield in May and were really happy with it. No stupid questions.....it’s smart to ask if your not sure.....
For the Chase SW cards...you can only open one personal and one business card....once you get the bonus...keep the card open a year then you can cancel ..but you have to wait 24 months from when the bonus posted to apply for the card again....
For the Chase Sapphire cards...it’s 48 months after the bonus to apply again and Chase will only let you open one of these...they is a workaround with the MDD....that some have success with
Other UR cards the Freedom and Freedom Unlimited are 24 months to apply again after receiving the bonus
I hadn't been targeted for Hilton upgrade through emails or links or anything I've been checking! and then today I had a banner up top of my Ascend offering the 150k point upgrade to the Aspire. Which I don't yet have. So the proper plan here is to get the Aspire and then accept the upgrade offer on the Ascend right? I'm not even sure I can do this as I really don't see myself being able to hit $8k in Amex spend in the next 3 months... AFAIK the upgrade offer doesn't disappear from the Ascend until expiration of the offer right, even if you get the Aspire?
I’m a little frustrated. Upgraded my Hilton Amex before vacation, card didn’t arrive before we left. It was in the mail when we returned, activated and checked back to see when I upgraded. May 9. So I now have about 2 months left for 4K which is more than we usually spend, especially with Amex. I already bought a Visa GC so I can use for Costco run but I’ll need more.
For Plastiq, insurance is ok, right? I have insurance bill and can pay a couple car payments (finagled the credit union name before for that I think)
ETA: Airline Credit for Aspire, do SW GCs work?
Southwest CP Strategy
OK guys, I need some help. My wife has our Southwest CP. She is currently 4/24 but after 10/31, she will be 2/24. In 2017, I set us up with the CP for 2018 and 2019. I want to start planning our strategy for 2020-2021. I am not an option, I am way above 5/24. Should I close both these cards now? If so, when should I re-apply? I'm pretty sure I have to wait until after 1/15/20 before I can get another SUB, right?
If you were me, what would you do and when?

But you don’t see the upgrade offer until a year, right? From reading r/churning, it seems that there is the risk that the upgrade offer might disappear after you get the Aspire. Some say to do it the same day.
I used a packing app to help me a bit. Pack The Bag.
This is my app. A spreadsheetI've gone back to paper.
I got that email as well. Mine has an expiration date of 7/31 which throws a wrench into my plans. I was going to try for Cip #3 at the end of June. Have the trip to Seattle in July and tuition in August so easy to meet spend. But if I get this Delta by end of July, I might have hard time with that 4K MSR. I need URs more than Delta as I only know of one flight on Delta in my near future. I'll go for the CIP and then see if I think I can meet the Delta MSR. I'll also have to put some spend on DH's AMEX cards to reduce the probability he'll get a pop-up....However, just now I couldn't find it again. But by playing around in his account (clicking on refer, etc), an email was generated to him offering the 12,500 referral. When I click through that email, I generate a referral link that brings up the higher offers. For the Delta Gold Biz, I'm seeing a 70k bonus with $4k MSR and a $50 statement credit + waived annual fee + 0% for 6 months.
You're welcome, sometimes I wonder if I should post when I'm so behind...Yes, a small one by the pool. I did not use it, but my boys did. Thanks for this! Yes! Because all contributions are welcome and even if it’s ground that’s recently been covered people will gently say something and be happy you took the time to share. It’s just the kind of group we have hereYou're welcome, sometimes I wonder if I should post when I'm so behind...Yes, a small one by the pool. I did not use it, but my boys did.
