Both my sons started with the Discover IT Chrome Student card. They were both approved instantly with a very low limit which has increased (in tiny increments) over time. It also gives 1% cash back on all purchases (2% on gas and restaurants) and $20 cash back bonus once a year for good grades. My 18 year old son would like to apply for his first credit card. He is a full time student during the school year, and works full time during the summer. What is the best first card that would be easiest for him to get with no credit history? He isn’t going to be churning. Just want him to start building his credit.
Has anybody been able to purchase Disney gift cards or any other store gift card for that matter with Visa gift cards?
I used a virtual visa recently with Target - maybe a few months ago...scared to try it with disney online.
I read here somewhere to put the visa into paypal, and pay with paypal using the visa as the primary funding method. I think I did that once at the disney store online and it worked.

You're welcome, sometimes I wonder if I should post when I'm so behind...
I think DoC said that Chase is coming out with a student Visa tomorrow. I'm holding off onbthe Discover until I can check that out. Thanks, I was looking at that one for him. Figured I would ask here Incase there was any others somebody recommended.
That’s great! I’ll have him wait to see what that is before deciding.I think DoC said that Chase is coming out with a student Visa tomorrow. I'm holding off onbthe Discover until I can check that out.
We’ve had a riding mower for 13 years and haven’t ever winterized or serviced the two that have had. Oops. We really should take the blade to be sharpened though.I'll see if I find any more info when I opt in later and PM you.
No coolant. It either removes the gas or ads a stabilizer, unhooks the battery, makes sure it's all clean under the mower deck and does an oil change. We often have issues with the battery in the spring so I'm guessing mom hasn't had it fully winterized. Especially since neither of us remember ever having to connect the battery. I know my stepdad did all that stuff but the JD was his baby. Pretty sure he waxed it at some point but def washed it more than we hose off the one we have.
I just did a return to RL but it hasn’t posted yet to see what happens to the 5k MRs I had received. I’ll keep checking.Amex offer question. What happens if you redeem an offer, but then return the item that got you money back? Will Amex just adjust the return amount minus the offer money back?
Not trying to game the system or upset Amex. I just saw these new Mickey Ray-Bans and I have a shopping problem and want them.I have a $30 off $150 Sunglass Hut offer and figure I would buy them once they're online in the event they sell out. I am ALSO going to the park at the end of the month and figure if I can get them 20% off with my AP and use discounted gift cards it would be a better deal and I would want to return the original pair to Sunglass Hut. I am torn

I wish it was only 24-48 hours. Pretty sure you meant months.haha, its not that easy... Chase cards and SW cards have a 24-48 hour wait period for the next sign up bonus.
other banks all have different rules, for example amex is once a lifetime, Barclay is one that will give u the bonus if they feel like it.
