I couldn't resist...even after I promised DH I would not buy anymore ornaments...I have collected Hallmark for over 34 years :lovestruc we are overrun by them :rotfl2:

We just started buying them off ebay and the parks two years ago. We have enough to fully pack one tree. Now we've purchased tons of filler ornaments kind of like the ones you see at the parks on Christmas. Big ones! We had to buy a 2nd tree. Then we found two 4 foot high Mickey and Tigger holding a garland strand to put next to the tree.

This year is going to be over the top.

Addictive huh?

I love that ornament! I used to be a fanatic about Hallmark's merchandise - even the non-Disney stuff. They had some great Halloween Peanuts stuff for a while, and I LOVED all the different lapel pins Hallmark would come out with for different holidays (not sure if they still make cool ones, but they used to!) back in the '90s. I was a fanatic collecting those.

Did you ever get the (very detailed) Disney Hallmark ornament from years and years ago where Mickey is climbing a ladder wearing a Santa hat and nightshirt, and he is hanging a stocking at the top of a Mickey Mouse stop watch? At the base of the ladder/stopwatch, there is a glass of milk, a note to Santa and a tiny plate of Mickey-shaped cookies!!! It is one of my all time favorites because, while it is small, there is so much detail in it - the Mickey stopwatch, Mickey hanging the stocking and climbing the ladder, the milk and Mouse-shaped cookies, etc. I love it!! My other favorite Disney Hallmark ornament from a long time ago is one with Mickey and Minnie riding in a giant Mickey hot air balloon. The combo of Hallmark & Disney is amazing.

It sounds like you guys have the BEST Christmas trees ever!!! I love Christmas trees anyway, but I've never been to anyone's house who has all-Disneyfied trees (usually they have one or two Disney ornaments)! I would love that!

Yeah, I am another Hallmark addict. My mother has been collecting them since they started in the 70's and I grew up being her Hallmark encyclopedia and catalog. I have of course taken the obsession on since having my own family, and have invested quite a bit into those suckers!

That Mickey ornament is one of my favorites this year though. I have it sitting on top of my Disney hutch along with the tin Mickey Hallmark from this year as well.

How cute! DH has been buying me Hallmark ornaments for years and now our X-mas trees are 95% Disney. :santa:

Hi Sherry, I have that and I love it too, the hot air balloon is my DH favorite one...one year I had a Disney Tree...a Santa tree...and a 'all the rest tree'...the entry way to our kitchen was decked out in the Star Trek and Star Wars ornaments...I started collecting ornaments when our son was 5 and started school (DS will be 39 :scared1:)
I promised my DH last year this 'maddness':dance3: would end....but I saw Mickey and could not resist...This was the last one...and I mean it this time. ;)

I have pics of last years tree that I can post. It still turned out pretty good, but this year....we'll we'll be going overboard. I'll post some tonight.

The "snow" is it cotton or what I would call "angelhair" I'm not sure of the name? Love the snowflakes and ice cycles and the Disney ornaments...What is the tree topper? ... I love the holidays...jc

Thank you! It's about 150 Disney ornaments, with filler ornaments, icicles, snowflakes and the "snow" is actually batting that you put in pillows, just laid on top of the branches. The tree topper is our Mickey Santa Hat's we bought last Xmas at the DL.

Hi again...need to clear up something about HALLMARK
The two ornaments we are "Oooh 'ing" over are not Hallmark ornaments...they are by ENESCO...at one time Enesco made 'very' detailed ornaments and they sold for about twice the price of Hallmarks...I'm not sure when Enesco stop making their Christmas ornaments...I stopped because of the price...I think you can find them on eBay ...here are some pictures: sorry for the quality of the pictures.

zeitzeuge...showed the pictures of your tree to my DDIL last night and she loved it...we are going for the 'snow' effect this year...The tree topper was
a unique idea :santa: ...jc

Zeitzeuge, love your tree! Hmmm..... I might have to give the snow thing a try this year too. We'll see. Can't wait to see what happens when you go overboard this year!

Yes, those are the two! I have both of them, but they are not in their boxes (they are on display), so I had forgotten that they were not made by Hallmark because I bought them (and all my other ornaments) at the Hallmark store.

Glad you have them...they are getting harder to find. What I LOVED about Enesco was the fine detailing, much more so then Hallmark...but at $20+ an ornament is added up fast...In my collecting years I would buy 40+ ornaments a season...(But now I promised DH to stop and I will, If Hallmark would quit making cute Disney ornaments) Here are two more of my favorite Enesco's... I LOVE Minnie!

I have the Born to Shop one too!!! I do not have the one on the right hand side, but Minnie and her shopping bags are on display here on a shelf with the other two ones we discussed!!

Another cute on I have is Mickey sitting on top of Pluto's dog house, trying to hang a wreath on it, and Pluto is poking his head outside to see what Mickey is up to on the roof!

They were SO detailed - that's why I love that one with the mouse-shaped cookies! That is so fitting of anything that has the Disney name on it, because we all know about their attention to detail!

I do have a couple of moving ornaments (these may actually be Hallmark and not Enesco) with Pooh and the gang. In one of them, Tigger is pulling Pooh out of a hole on one side and Rabbit is pushing Pooh's bottom on the other side. In the other Pooh & the gang motion ornament, Pooh is on a tree stump in the center, and the entire Pooh gang (including Christopher Robin, who is beating a little drum) is dancing around the base of the stump. Are those Hallmark or Enesco? In any case, I bought all of these at Hallmark....when I wasn't busy buying all their cool holiday lapel pins that used to be super popular!!!

Sherry, Minnie is the cutest one...I love all the little details in it..It is hard to remember who made what...I think they are Hallmark, I'll look them up...Did you get the Hallmark one with Mickey and Minnie in front of the TV watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" and the Sorcerer Mickey?
M U S T... S T O P... N OW...I want to go to the Hallmark store :rotfl2:...jc

WOW!! Gorgeous! I am so impressed, your tree is as perfect as any you would see done by professionals....and the Santa hat topper is genius! Very well done! :worship:
I really want to try the snow trick too, although I have a feeling mine will pale in comparison as all your components make yours work so well....

I am always in the Holiday spirit, year 'round. I drive my DH crazy because I can't pass by a Christmas clearance sale (in July) without checking out what they have available. Not everything I acquire is Disney, but I am slowly adding to my collection.
