I Lost My Dis Unplugged Lanyard!

So, I'm starting a little bit to get organized for my December trip. So, yesterday I decide to get my Dis Unplugged lanyard out and put with my pins. I do a very good job of putting things in a safe place so that nothing happens to them. I do such a good job putting things in safe places sometimes that when I go to get them, I can't remember where I put them. ARRRR! I have my pin, because it's on our pin board. Anyone else ever put things in a safe place and then can't remember where that is????

I do stuff like this all the time - mostly with jewelry though. I hid a diamond ring so it would be safe and low and behold it was "safe" for 2 years before I found it. I am still looking for my gold charm bracelet - one year later. I am begining to think I just need to invest in a wall safe.

But as I look around my desk, I can't seem to find my DIS Unplugged lanyard either. Hmmmm, maybe there is a lanyard gnome stealing them.

I'm sure I will, but it drives me nuts when I put things someplace so I can find it later, only to forget where I put it.
