5 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of my travel clothes are out, I tried everything on yesterday, complete with shoes and accessories. Now to fit it all in my bags, I am taking three bags, plus my Dooney for my Mac, Ipad, Iphone, 2 cameras and travel chocolates.

How many pairs of shoes are too many? 8? I hope not........ Bags? 5? Hats? 2........ Nothing says Europe like a big "say something hat".

This is really happening people!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sick to my stomach with excitement!!!!!!

Let's think about Corsica today, shall we?

Hey, do I need a thingy to plug in my apple products in Barcelona? you know their electricity is different from ours... right??

Too much to do, so little time..... BEFORE I GO TO EUROPE!!!!!!!!

Teresa, about your previous comment re: a bag to carry around, make sure it's something you can completely zip up. It's nothing to panic over, but Barcelona & Rome are well known for pickpockets. We did have one person on our Med cruise that I know of who had her wallet stolen from her purse (she didn't zip it back up).

You will need at least an adaptor for your Apple stuff because the plugs are different. Some might require an actual converter (since the voltage is different). Some electronics can adapt, others can't, so I'd check with Apple to make sure which you need. AAA carries both. You'll be fine, of course, once you get on the ship.

OH MY!!!!!!! 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!

I went shopping again yesterday to fill in a few holes in my wardrobe. I found a wonderful Brown skirt and a few different tops to go with it. This will go well with my "say something hat" I am thinking for "Rome" day.

Today, I start to pack. I woke up with a bad headache, but I think it is just stress and worry. Stella wasn't feeling well last night and I thought, " here we go" She will get really sick and I will worry double while I am away. She couldn't really pinpoint what was wrong... Just sick. Well, then this morning she asked me if we were going to Heaven today. Guess she heard about the Rapture for 6pm today. What do you tell a 9 year old, who takes everything to heart and worries about this stuff? I explained, as best I could about the people who believe this and how they decided this would be the day. How I believe that we won't know what day ot will be., and that We know that in her heart she is ready and not to worry about it. Just live everyday, and do your best and everything will be fine. She told me that She prayed it wasn't today, so I would get to go on my trip. She also said I should not pack until tomorrow, just in case. So....... We are spending the afternoon together cleaning her room, working on her book report that is due Monday and playing barbies. She also has me scheduled for a pre trip "Stella Spa treatment" at 5:30.

Max is out for the day, Grace went to Universal with her friends, Hubby is working in the yard..... I am going to play barbies, and clean.... (maybe squeeze in alittle pre packing organizing)

PS..... I found a great cross body bag that I think will work nicely. It has a zippered inside pocket for the important stuff......

I think Stella is just going to miss you!! I'm really hoping Rapture isn't happening at 6 tonight bc I'm still laying around in my pjs LOL! Have an amazing trip! OK, better late than never, here are some pics from Corsica. Corsica was verdant & lush & rolling hills & quaint buildings. It was gorgeous sea views and Napoleon statutes. It was a nice, laid back day after our 3 crazy days in Italy.

24 HOURS!!!!! I am running around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get everything done!!!!!! Laundry!!!!! Packing!!!!! last minute work!!!
Clean my desk off!!! Pay bills!!!!!! (crap, no money left for shopping) I can't find the camera charger!!!!!!!!

I woke up this morning to Klaus giving me the head of a lizard in bed!!!!!

Spent a good bit of yesterday afternoon in a freaky panic attack about this trip. Got to thinking about the girls while I will be away, thinking about things I needed to do, What was I forgetting,

Stella recorded a video for me on my Iphone to watch when I am away.. It's all I can do not to watch it now.She also took a bunch of photos of everyday stuff I will be missing. Her eating, the cats sleeping, my bed, her bed, the litter box ( not sure on this one), Her smile, her frown, Kelvin watching tv.... you get the idea.. Ok, I am crying now...
