If I haven't said this already, my mind is basically a comedy/song lyric/movie quote card catalog with a permanent soundtrack playing in the background. Right now, it's "Be Our Guest", which is appropriate since the France pavilion is basically Beauty and the Beast land during the F&G festival. Also going on up there is the French Revolution segment of History of the World Part I.
"We the people of France..."
"Fraance."
"...Fraance."
And speaking of Fraance, it looks like Impressions du Fraance is starting right now. We know this because the CM stationed outside told us so, in perfect English, no less.
"We are so poor, we don't even have a language! Just this stupid accent!"
"She's right! She's right! We all talk like Maurice Chevalier! Aw haw haw!"
I love "Impressions". Emily says it's "scary", but I think she's just in the mood to do anything other than what we want to do. We all enjoy it, though, and then it's back out into the late April/Early May heat, which is not bad when compared to the late July/early August heat+humidity. Or so I'm told.
Ok, ok, I know what you're thinking. It's almost 1:00, we're in Epcot, and I haven't had a beer yet. I thought about getting a Kronenburg in France-
"Fraance."
...Fraance. But I didn't. And we're moving on soon, so the obvious choice is a Casa Beer from the Kiosk outside Moracco.
To clarify, I love beer, which shouldn't be news to anyone reading this. And the darker, the better. Actually, I'm really into IPAs right now, but I also differentiate dinner/nighttime beers from "outside in the heat beers". I've grown to love Pabst Blue Ribbon, which through extensive research, I have found to be the perfect balance between cheap and drinkable. I also found out after I started buying it that it's the trendy beer among the artsy/alternative kids, which is sort of funny when you consider that I am usually not associated in any way with the word "trendy". Then again, I saw a picture in a gossip mag a few years back of Drew Barrymore wearing the same Iron Maiden shirt I had in 8th grade ("it says 'Bethlehem' on the back of her shirt!"). I also saw a picture of the drummer for Blink 182 (Travis something-or-other) wearing the same Slayer shirt I had in 12th grade. He was wearing it on the red carpet at some awards show. Never mind the obvious question of, "why would you wear a Slayer shirt on the red carpet?"...the point is that I was in style before my time between the ages of 13-17 and didn't even know it. The other kids evidently didn't know it, either.
"Ok, what is your point in all of this? Aren't we supposed to be talking about Disney? And where are the pics?"
Um...actually, I have no clue what my point was. Let's change the subject back to this Casa Beer I just wrote about. As for pics, that will require me to open Photobucket, and that will take a whole 2 clicks, and I'm not sure I have the energy. I was just chasing my dog around a lake, so I'm tired.
"Alright, if you can't stay focused, why not just wait until later to write this update?"
Hush up. Ok, Photobucket's open now, and it took 5 clicks, not 2. See, I'm NOT lazy. So here are some Morocco pics:
Ok, kids, are you done coloring Duffys yet?
...
No. Ok, more pics.
Alright, there are ((number of Epcot countries) minus 2) to go, so don't you want to save some of that Duffy for them?
"No. We'll get another one."
Fair enough. But enough's enough. A few more pictures, then we're moving on.
Thanks, Dyl. Now get your ugly mug out of Em's glamour shot.
Thanks! Now on to Japan.
