We have our ceremony at 10 am

The same morning Anna is doing my makeup, Carolyn Allens steams, we have the MK shoot, and then Anna touches up again, and we have another steaming.

Is it too close for 10am?

ALSO I really want my MOH to wear a little black knee length dress because she looks gorgeous in black. Is it too early in the morning to have her wearing something so dark? What are the wedding rules on that :confused3

As crazy as it sounds or as difficult as it to believe some days- trust your wedding planner. If you have gone over your wedding itinerary and included all those options then it should work out.
DD just married in June (Crista) and had 9am wedding. With the early make-up and hair call it was a very early morning. I might suggest having the steaming etc done the day before. Its easier on the nerves not to have so many things to do the morning of the wedding. If you can relax you will enjoy the day and each minute :)
I definately am a believer in Disney magic! The great thing is- after you've worked so hard to do all the planning ahead of time the day just enfolds like a dream.
Good luck!

Thanks so much! I'll probably go ahead and schedule the first steaming for the night before then. I know its silly, but with every decision I make I see a pro and a con to it. I'm just going to stick with the 10am, but I hope I'm not rushing to day too much

Caroline,

I see where your concern lies. Yes, the first steaming would have to be the night before. I am not sure how much time you are going to have after you get back to steam again. This is going to make for a really long day. For our 9am ceremony, and I was running late the whole time, I started getting ready at 5am. Talk to Carolyn and your makeup person to see what you can and can not do. Pad yourself extra time for pictures and in case you are running late.

all the steaming was done the day before and it worked out just great.
no need to have a steaming the day of. You'll end up making yourself crazy trying to squeeze it in.
I have been just watching the boards for the past year with my daughter and you girls are all doing great :)
Jonette sounds like she had such bizaar things happen and it all worked out perfect. Stay calm, make your choices and then roll with them.

When I spoke to a rep from Carolyn Allyns they suggested the second steaming the day of after the MK photo shoot b/c I was having the cermony directly after and were afraid the dress would be mussed and wrinkled. Is this not the case?

I don't think you'll need a steaming after the MK shoot. I would just get your dress steamed the night before. The MK shoot is no harder on your dress than normal pre-ceremony photos.

Great, thanks for the honest advice because otherwise I would have gone ahead and scheduled another for no reason. :thumbsup2
